Back at it | Status Report #09

I'm back from my vacation and working on MGLH again. In the past few weeks I wrote a lot, added a new system and started animating. But that's not all.

What I did in the last three weeks:

• I wrote the next story scene for the game and added images to it.

  • For those images, I tried out a new way of presenting the backgrounds, with a bit more motion and movements.

• I did a bunch of planning to know which sex scenes are still coming and when.

• I started writing the first sex scene of the new update.

  • And I animated it and am currently rendering.

• I also wrote the second sex scene of the update.

• On top of that I made the little intro animation at the start of a new set of sexy options. and rendered it.

• And I added a new system. Before, you could change the girls clothes in the bedroom and it would change how her sprite would look. Now changing her clothes also changes the backgrounds. So that when she's lounging in the livingroom or lies down to read in the bedroom, her clothes change too.

  • I also added new outfit options too. Not new clothes, but the option to choose less.

• I made slight changes to the journal screens so the text is properly centered.

• I also wrote three new hangout events, as well as three new smalltalk events.

• I also added a new kind of random event where the girl will approach you after completing certain tasks and added about six of those into the game.

• Also some minor changes to the way options are presented in menus, but that's not entirely done yet.

• And I made a free demo version for MIST, available on ITCH.IO.

  In the next weeks:

  I'm gonna keep working on the game. Mainly focusing on new sex scenes. I'm aiming for about three for the next update. I also still need to implement the next difficulty level of the work minigame, maybe some new achievements or other events. Also bugfixes, additional passes on the script and so on. I'm really happy with the current progress and development is fun!
