A fresh start | Status Report #07
Thank you to everyone who stuck around after I cancelled CoM, and thank you to everyone who joined the Patreon. The past few weeks, a lot has changed, and I want to take my time to address it all.
The End of Covenant of Morn
When I announced the cancellation of CoM, I was certain my Patreon would take a huge hit — which, as many of you know, is pretty much my only source of income right now. I was afraid of losing my job and disappointing a lot of people. The latter, I probably did.
Yet so many of you stuck around. I couldn’t believe it at first. But a few days after I made the announcement, it began to sink in — you were actually staying. I suddenly realized that I’m not alone on this journey. You’re actually with me. I develop the games, with my ideas and my hands — but in a way, the games are ours. Your trust is what makes it possible.
And I thank you for that. It is truly special. Your responses have lifted me up. I’m excited about my future as an erotic game dev. There are so many games I want to make, so many ideas I want to explore, and so much trust that I want to give back.
The Beginning of My Girl Loves Handcuffs
And it all starts with MGLH. So many new people have joined with the latest release, and I want to send out a warm welcome to each and every one of you. Welcome to the Patreon — I hope you’ll like it here. I now know that it’s a tight-knit group.
MGLH is a small project focused on the sexy dynamic between the main characters, a little mystery plot, and lots of sex. So the next update, version 0.3, will focus mainly on that — a lot of sex.
Since the release of version 0.2, I took some time off and then got back to work. I managed to:
Animate and render the first new sex scene of 0.3
Animate and render the second new sex scene of 0.3
Add a new little story event
Fix some typos and (hopefully) some bugs
A Fresh Start
So I start anew — with a new game and a changed view on what I do and for whom. I’ve never been happier to be here.
I don’t have the same enthusiasm I had when I first started over six years ago, or the insane high I felt when MIST finished and I earned so much money. But right now, I feel the safest and calmest I’ve ever been with what I do.
I feel like I can explore and enjoy — and that is a great privilege. Thanks.

I'm glad you're in a better place doing this work. TBH, I could tell from CoM that your heart wasn't in it. It just felt too forced. MIST (and MGLH, so far) flows more naturally. While MGLH is less my thing, I really liked MIST and would like to see you grow as a dev. You've said MGLH is a "small" project. I'm wondering what you mean by that? Compared to MIST, how do you see it in terms of effort/size? Do you intend to add additional characters, as some would like? Or will it remain the single LI and small? Or am I just gonna hafta wait?
You do good work. Yes I am disappointed that CoM is unfinished but I'm sure your new project will be just as good as all your others.

I've enjoyed seeing your creative journey and I hope you continue to find what works for you. At this point you've moved beyond my area of interest. That's not a reflection on your abilities or creativity, just my preferences. Best of luck in all you do.

Well to say I am new here would be a joke. I started in 2023 only one month after first discovering erotic games. I knew you had exceptional creativity from the start. Everyone makes some mistakes in life and have to take a step back. (At least you are not like me and are further behind that when you started 😂). I was always certain you would recover, and you are off to a great start. It is obvious that I am not the only one who recognizes that.
As my personal opinion, as an artist you need your freedom and your headspace. When it comes to creativeness, ideas will either flourish or fade over time. I think it is natural. I’m glad i joined recently to support your projects and i’m glad you have this renewed energy to push mglh further ;) sex scenes are good and obviously what we will have but please consider adding more normal intimacy as well, like hugs/kisses ;D

Nah, MIST and COM characters were way better. I really don't like the face of this girl. She looks like a TESIV Oblivion character.

I would love a Mist 2 or another game similar in mechanics to Mist not something too complex just enough to be interesting
I hope you address the plot, and add actual depth, I'm intrigued by the story, not the sex necessarily. love🫶
