Graphically Updating the Environments in Altered Destiny
Here's a small post of something I've been cooking up as I create new content for the next update of Altered Destiny... Screen Quality Improvements. Some locations feel quite outdated when comparing it to many newer ones (example of newer being Olivia's house). Poor lighting or simply bare spots can really make a place feel boring. It's something I've been wanting to improve upon and on the back-end of releasing updates I spend a few days doing just that.
Above is a couple graphical comparisons between then and now. It is a big commitment, and I'll slowly add them in as I find the time to. Many locations have already received this treatment such as the Western Forest and Park location, but some of the bigger locations such as the player's home, Kimberly's home or school obviously takes more time. But again, my main focus is on pushing the story further so that we may get to the most juicy points in the female romances, but I do like to squeeze in other things from time to time.
Sometimes the game can feel like a steep mountain in terms of graphic quality as you play through it, and I'd like to make it closer to a gentle hill instead, if you get what I mean. Thanks!

As someone who is learning to use DAZ, I have to say, color me impressed! The "after" renders feel so much more, I dont know how to put it, "homey" feeling? Thats the only way I can describe it.
Yup, you can tell that the lighting has a huge impact. For the better or course. This won't affect saves will it ?
Nah, not at all. If any there ever does I always provide a save file just in case
Really like the change 👍
