Untitled Sewer Game Update
A lot of how I create is incredibly chaotic, much like my own thoughts. I tend to work creating a world and giving it a feeling and hoping that'll guide me to some sort of narrative. I'll blame the disorganization on the ADHD. Anyways, a lot of my untitled game's work has been tweaking things and figuring out what I want the narrative to be.
Anyways, my initial idea was that the sewer serves as a sort of hub which felt interesting to me at the time but I also wanted to connect them in a more concrete manner. The park scene was one I really liked and felt like maybe that should be the way all these places are connected. I had this idea that perhaps I'd make a small city that players could traverse.
In the first screen I messed with some camera shaders. I really liked the effect but I'm not sure if it's going to be in the final game.
This is a screenshot from over the park. I created road models so I'd be able to expand the city.
This is the original park design. All the objects were just part of the set and you couldn't go outside the park.
I changed the apartment slightly to theme it like the city. This is where I intend the player to start in the final builds of the game.
You'll leave your apartment and exit to the hallway.
And down the stairs...
I'm still working on this, and even as I write I'm coming up with ideas of ways to take this project. It'll need a name. Maybe I'll do a poll when I get to a place where I'm comfortable releasing more early builds.
Look forward to new update builds in the near future!
