Apple is forcing some changes on Patreon
Soon iOS app users won't be able to subscribe to me until the end of 2025 when I'll be forced to start using the other subscription method.
Not only that but soon all subscriptions made through the iOS app will be 30% more expensive because Apple is taking a cut.
The solution to both these problems is to just open up your browser and subscribe through there. Or just switch to Android.

Apple trying its darndest to make people hate them
Does this also include if you subscribed through the web browser too?
No, Apple charges an additional fee for themselves only through the iOS app hence I said subscribing through the browser solves the issue. Also I think it only affects new subscribers, existing ones won't be affected.
I'm glad I got android!
I never liked iPhone because of this ridiculous stuff they pull with their products. I'm so glad I stuck with android all these years.
Definitely thinking about switching but for now would it be possible just to delete the app and use the browser as is?
Don't need to delete the app, subscribing through a browser is enough to circumvent the fee. Also I think it will only affect new subscribers and existing ones won't be affected.
iPhones are starting to become ridiculous. I’m about to switch.
