Republic or Empire?

As you may remember, the story of the game takes place during the Clone Wars, shortly before Order 66. However, the more I think about the story and develop the content, the more I realize that the story of the game would fit better during the days of the Galactic Empire. It would also make more sense that Shana hides her Force abilities and lightsaber. In the Republic, she, in general, has no one to hide from, while in the Empire, as you know, being a Jedi is unhealthy :)
In addition, the Empire provides a lot of freedom in terms of game development, as there are many more ready-made 3D models and other content for this era. In addition, Palpatine saw the Empire as primarily human, which means that other races will be relegated to the background, which is also more convenient in terms of game development, since the creation and animation of alien models requires a considerable amount of time. Of course, they will be in any case, but their not so large percentage among the population of game locations would be more logical precisely for imperial times.
This issue needs to be resolved now, as the demo is almost ready for release, but is still available for some story and content changes. Currently, only Tatooine exists in the game, and Tatooine is pretty much the same in the Republic as it is in the Empire, so the transition to another era will require only minor changes in some models and texts.
Therefore, I want to ask you - what era would you like to see in the game?

I prefer the Republic era personally, but those are some good points so Imperial era seems like the better choice

I feel as though we could both ways with the prologue starting a few months before Order 66 and we continue from there into the days of the Galactic Empire.

But then again, Yoda is the Grand Master and what he says goes. It would be pretty interesting for her master to know about her departure and not say anything. Shows a more familial relationship between the master and apprentice.
Well, according to the plot, Shana and her master are connected by something more than just training. In fact, this was the reason for her leaving the Order. But, at the same time, it contributed to the awakening of her main ability in the Force.
Actually, I believe there are extremely rare cases of the High Council allowing an ex-Jedi to keep their lightsaber. If I remember correctly, Yoda allowed Dooku to keep his when he left.
In addition to Vidalaac's comment, would she have left the Order quietly so that she still has her lightsaber, or would she have announced her intentions to leave which would leave them requiring her to surrender her lightsaber and have to build another later?
I haven't define on this yet. Her master definitely knew about her departure, I have not yet thought through the rest of the points.
Republic era is more beautiful, thou I support an Empire atmosphere. My vote is for Republic era.
If she left before Order 66 then the story would be in the years of the hunt for the Jedi and that would allow a lot of interesting situations, a bit like the Star Wars Rebels series... not to mention the Jedi Fallen Order game... it is a very nice environment, much more so than the Clone Wars in my opinion.
This is what I'm talking about. In the process of thinking through the plot, I come up with many interesting ideas, but most of them are relevant only to the Empire.
The imperial era is more interesting, maybe you could have a flashback of order 66?
Unlikely, since Shana left the Order, and most likely she did so before Order 66.
