Question about the plot

While the process of creating the Mos Eisley is in progress, I want to know your opinion on one issue.
I often see feedback on the idea of my project, which telling in general that I have too distorted the very essence of the Jedi Knights. Although I warned that my idea, in view of the specifics of the game, is alternative and does not fully comply with the canons.
However, for many fans Jedi and bodily pleasures are fundamentally incompatible. But I want the game to still like more people.
Therefore, I had the following idea of restructuring the plot: Kara remains a Jedi, but an exile from the Order. She was expelled precisely because of her commitment to passion and sensual pleasures, including using them as a means to achieve her goals. At the same time, despite the numerous temptations, Kara remains on the light side of the Force, she wants to prove that her way of acting is no worse than the classical teaching of the Jedi. To do this, she tracks down the elusive gang of mercenary kidnappers, hoping for their capture to earn the forgiveness of the Jedi Council and return to the Order.
Here, such a story. Now tell me your opinion - is it better in your opinion such a plot, or to leave the one that was originally?

New to this, but could always have Kara go to the darkside actually *shrug*, or is that a progression option?
Displacement to the dark or light side directly depends on the actions of the player. If you played games in the KOTOR series, it’s about the same here. For example, you can do something good for a something character and get some points for the light side. And in the same way, you can get dark side points for aggression and similar actions.

I like the decision to exile Kara, I think it'll allow you a lot more creative freedom between the Jedi and Slavers story that you set.
If you want to keep the purists happy you have to follow the rules as told in the stories. You're change in plot is a brilliant solution. As any true Jedi purist will tell you "I remain committed to the Jedi principles and will never have sex with a real woman" :P... don't let purists ruin your game
