Adult games need your help.
Hello there!
Feminists are celebrating a win. They’re already deciding what games you can play. This month, a radical feminist group Collective Shout (aka Collective Shit) found a way to get thousands of adult games banned on Steam and Itch.io.
They did this by pretending to protect women and children (even though adult games don’t feature real people, and platforms don’t allow that) and pressuring banks like VISA and Mastercard. Their goal is to wipe out all adult games, and this is just the start.
Right now, about 30,000 adult games on Itch.io are in a “shadow ban,” meaning you can’t find them through search or tags.
Will this stop us from making adult games? No. We’re determined to keep going.
But we’re all at risk. Woke activists have been influencing the gaming industry too much lately. Small indie developers like us are targeted by feminists for creating “sexualized women” and not following diversity rules that big companies like Disney and Netflix love.
In a world where feminist/woke groups like Sweet Baby Inc. set the standards, it’s hard for small indie game developers to survive. Only your support lets us keep making the hardcore games we love without censorship.
Maybe these aggressive feminists will come after us next, but for now, we’re still here. With your help, we’re making the hentai games you enjoy.
And to the women who try to ban adult games for gamers, maybe they should focus on their own lives and find some sexual happiness.

I do believe that blaming this on Collective Shout is kinda wrong. It's more the Christian Religion side that is trying to ban everything "unnormal" "Sinful" or "Blasphemous". Sure I believe Collective Shout might be backing that movement but they are not the main push here.
This isn't "woke madness", Collective Shout aligned and are doing the bidding of a right-wing Christian group. Also VISA and Mastercard have often taken a hard line against the sex industry, due to religious pressure from the conservative right and religious side of politics across the world. Hence why this campaign can be effective. Wild to me someone can be in the sex industry, and think it is the "woke" people out to get them.
I hate censorship! Adults don;t need to be babysat!
Excuse me, but is not woke madness.
I hate the term "woke" and people who use it so fucking badly. But yes, it sucks that this group exists and has been doing this. In Texas they're already trying to eliminate adult content completely so I've spent a lot of time with games on itch. It's been really great until now. There is a lot of talented and passionate developers getting affected and it's not fair
You might want to do some actual research, instead of culture war BS. Collective Shout was founded by, and is run by, TERFs, Anti-Abortion activists and works with evangelical groups like NCOSE, or as they were referred to as before, Morality in Media. You're literally attacking the opposite of the people responsible. But I wouldn't expect much from someone that uses woke unironically. "NCOSE, which originally began as the religious “Morality in Media” organization, is a conservative group based in the U.S." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Center_on_Sexual_Exploitation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melinda_Tankard_Reist "Tankard Reist is the founder of Collective Shout, a non-profit organisation best known for leading a successful campaign to block artist Tyler, the Creator from touring in Australia due to lyrics considered misogynistic,[5] as well as the removal of multiple Steam games alleged to have depicted rape, incest, and child abuse, but which journalistic investigations found to also include non-pornographic games containing LGBT themes."
Perhaps this is where they started at one point, but now the wave of bans of adult games on Steam and other platforms is happening precisely because of CS.
Thank you i told my Discord about the petition and yes i agree this has nothing to do with Safety for Women and Children. This is pure Censorship.
Collective shout isn't the real problem. Sure, they are a bunch of obnoxious Karens banning everything left and right, but there will always be these kinds of groups. Real problem are payment processors, they shouldn't have the power to dictate what is ok to buy and what isn't, if it's legal that is.
That's also true, but unfortunately they have this power, and the woke-schizophrenics actively use it.
