DEBATING TIER CHANGES?
I've been debating an overhaul of my price tiers. I would, naturally, make plenty of announcements before the Big Change but I wanted to share my thoughts and maybe hear some of ya'lls as well.

Here's my ideas:
SKETCH TIER AT $20 - Instead of my usual sketch stream form I would simply have a $20 tier (of limited quantity, I would have to experiment with the workload) it would get one guaranteed sketch a month. Naturally, I would still do my Thursday streams where I work on them.
However, this tier would have NO other benefits such as free downloads. Speaking of.
SPLIT GAME AND COMIC TIERS - Letting Patrons download free games and comics in one was fine at first, but as my library expands it's becoming more and more expensive. And, unfortunately, I do need to sell things for their value to survive. So, potentially, game downloads and comic downloads will be separate tiers.
You can get one free download of your type per month. PLUS the usual benefits of early access/previews for relevant tiers.
I don't entirely know how to pull this off yet though. Itchio's patreon integrations don't really allow for it so I may have to host my games on Patreon instead? We'll see.
BUNDLE TIERS - Naturally for those who want both free downloads AND a monthly sketch there could be a more expensive tier to get everything in one. And maybe one that's JUST for downloads? I'll see.
COMMISSIONS? - I only bring this up to say that I, unfortunately, can NOT make a proper 'commission' tier to offer anything greater than sketches. I need my free time for game dev work. However, if I ever do open them, I plan on keeping the same rules as always: Patreons of all tiers get first dibs.

Also my main thought about the sketch stream tier is yeah that would be nice to have but I'm worried about people having a fair chance of grabbing it because what if your in a different time zone that kind of thing.
My take on this it is understandable to have art and games be a separate tier especially now because patreon has a shop option where you can buy the game and not subscribe. Honestly time will tell if itch.io will probably be less flaky on NSFW games.

My main thought is that it would be pretty confusing to have non-overlapping tiers. I think most people will expect more expensive tiers to contain everything the cheaper ones offer. With that said, I think raising the price of tiers to appropriately include the cost of everything they contain makes sense. Edit: Thinking a bit more, I think removing games from patreon would generally make sense. They come out so infrequently compared to general art that making them one-time purchases on other platforms would make more sense.
I did prefer to have the games on Itchio. But when Itchio began to get flaky on NSFW content I was making plans to pivot everything to Patreon. This is part of my considerations. In general though, yes, I am mostly just thinking about gating things behind more expensive tiers BUT! I wanted to see if I could find a way to still offer lower tiers with less for those who really only wanted one or two things.
I feel like this is complicating things for the sake of it, plus it might limit the amount of people who could get sketches.
