New pony model finished! 🦄

Hello everyone.

The new pony base model has been finished. It took a while to complete, but my hope is that it will save me time in the long run and allow me to do animations that were not possible previously.

Twilight has been finished first. But I will bring back old characters as soon as I need them for a new animation or image set.

I was thinking of doing more character creation polls. With image sets inbetween animation uploads or possible animation swaps if that is something people would like me to do. That way I could feature a lot more characters that otherwise wouldn't win polls against the most popular characters.

Model Updates

• Face has got a new design that will let it be more expressive and varied in look between characters.

• Body has more natural curves now, especially the legs.

• Improved eye and eyelashes model.

• Genital design changes.

• Better and finer looking hair, each strand is now 0.01cm thin.

Texture/Material Updates

• x2 the resolution of the fur texture, so it shouldn't look pixelated anymore on closeups.

• x4 the resolution of the genitals, which makes lots of small skin detail visible on closeups.

• New eye texture that should look a bit more vibrant and render more accurately.

• More detailed wing and horn textures.

Animation Rig Updates

• Body flexibility, I should be able to do any pose now. Such as laying down with a straight neck, which was not possible previously. (Mating press was tricky to pull off).

• New face controls with more expressions.

• Everything lags less when I animate, especially the hair. I could be stuck for days in the past due to hair bugs/issues.

• Wings can now properly flap and fold themselves.

Next long animation will be a solo Twilight animation, but I might post a shorter animation with Trixie before that since it can be made in shorter time. (Trixie is almost finished).
