Okay maybe I should consider playing this finally... *sigh* unzips pants.

I really liked the baked beans head exploding callback from the Fallout show season 2 video.

I wonder whats up with his games, because they all seem inordinately broken. Whether im playing on pc or Playstation, I haven't encountered half of the bugs he mentioned. Its not that my graphics are lower, I play both on the highest settings. Its not an issue to mention them, but it does kinda bring me out of the video when a sizable part of it is about bugs that ive never encountered and only ever seen him mention.

I'm curious which is worse, the driving sections in Alone in the Dark (2008) or Cyberpunk 2077.

I have so many questions on how this game behaves like this. Maybe the jolts are because in order to get the models to be as extremely expressive as they are they needed to be made "looser" and as a result that looseness sometimes leads to the jumping? It is genuinely extremely hyper detailed, I'm impressed.

I just wanna say I super adore the animated intro still. It's gorgeous and very detailed.

I will say.... Having a little over 100hrs now with basically all the mods from a recent video saying those mods were essential... If you do like the game, get some mods! I actually really enjoy driving a bike now! and there's a mod to change the height of the camera in vehicles so YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE OVER THE DASH! O.O

I found the best way to get around was to find a road, see a car that was going in vaguely the right direction, climb on the roof and start punching the car. The car would speed up and I was leveling up my punching skill whilst traveling. Win win win.

I mosty agree with everything except the driving. i found it quite enjoyable. I like how you can feel the difference between how the cars handle. Although I admit I also don't like driving missions but that's because I find the scripted traffic kinda, uh, buggy

I very much agree with your takes on the game! I think there's a lot to like, despite the shortcomings. It's not perfect in a lot of ways (I could rant for hours about certain design choices, like the romanceable characters having preferences), but that doesn't change the fact that it's still a great experience, and I'd recommend anyone to play it at least once. I will say, while I agree that Johnny and V can be unbearable together in certain sections of the story. Something I do really love about Johnny Silverhand's character, is that for most of the game, you're seeing and hearing things about him only from his own completely warped and self-obsessed perspective, making Johnny one extremely unreliable narrator. Not only does he heavily embellish whatever truths you discover about him, there are entire sections of his backstory that are implied to be partially, or completely fabricated unconsciously by Silverhand's mind. For instance, it very much seems like he was in fact killed in his first encounter with Adam Smasher in Arasaka tower. So everything after that scene, from him inexplicably getting back to the roof of Arasaka tower, to him getting captured by Adam Smasher in such a dramatic way, and even his personal meeting with Saburo Arasaka before dying by getting his brain fried by Soulkiller. All fake memories, because he simply couldn't accept he died in such an insignificant way.

I genuinely love the game, I do feel more with the words V says than the voice she uses for the same reason, no one whispers sensually yet aggressively "samurai" as a safe word, what??
