Perfect Party Stuff - A 70's Collab by Surely-Sims & GildedGhosts
๐ฒ๐๐๐ธ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ฝ๐ ๐ซ๐ถ๐๐๐!
Hello! I'm so excited to finally share this with everyone! I am so bad at keeping secrets it's insane! When Ghosts brought up the idea of working together on a set late last year, I was so touched and honored to work with them!!! This is the first collab for the Sims I've ever done and I'm so happy to be able to share it with you all! Since they had already made the Bar and Lamps, I suggested a mid 70's theme and started researching the wonderfully horrific world of 70's parties.
I hope you find this set tacky, versatile, ridiculous, and overall fun to use! I taught myself how to edit xml this time around and tried to stick to a more grounded style. This was also my first set using substance painter to texture!
I hope you have a lot of fun with this set! Enjoy the Party!
xoxo, Anne โญ
SOME NOTES:
BANQUET TABLE -
There are two versions of the Banquet Table! One requires Luxury Party Stuff and Get to Work and the other is Completely Base Game! The Luxury Party version acts like the banquet tables from the stuff pack, but I've added some custom tuning so you can spawn more 70's themed dishes. The Base Game Version is just a table that you can snap group plates to!
Packs required for Specific Recipes: Ham Dinner, Turkey Dinner, Tofurkey Dinner (Seasons); Vegetable Casserole (City Living); Walleye Surprise (Outdoor Retreat); Cheese Eyeballs (Spooky Day)
STEREO CONSOLE -
The Stereo Console requires Get Famous because of the record spinning animation when it is turned on.
PLACE SETTINGS -
There are buyable place settings in the catalog under clutter. Because of the way EA code works, you'll have to place them first and then use the design tool to change the swatch. Special thank you to Wirefiish for letting me use their coffee cup!
All Buy Mode Objects can be found in the Catalog by searching "Perfect Party"!
There is also a stone floor, matching stone wall, and shag carpet in located in build mode!

Hi! I think this pack may be broken. When I use an item from it, my game freezes when I try to save. ๐ญ
Which item?
Hiya honey, I wanted to pop in and let you know that the outfits from this pack were broken by a recent patch, I suspect it has to do with the reference for the mesh they were cloned from.
Oh Ghosts isnโt around rn but Iโll have a look at them tomorrow! Thanks for the heads up!
What a perfect pack ๐๐๐
OMG LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!<3
I know this is 3 years old but I just found it and I have to express my adoration for any Sim CC creator who takes the time to make Sim versions of records/posters/etc. The Mamas and the Papas record is *chefs kiss* and I'm sure there will be more I adore once I get into my game <3

I downloaded this and placed it in my mods the same way with all your other downloads. For some reason, this is the only thing I've downloaded from you that doesn't show up in build mode. I'm on a Mac. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
Hi! Are you having issues seeing the whole collection or just a certain piece?
Hi i know this an older post. but i use this decor in nearly all of my houses. If you see this I had a question about the fire place, I cant seem to place without using moveoject being on was this on purpose or am I doing something wrong?
Is that a Sims version of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" omg perfect
Yes ahh! I'm glad you recognized it!!
The record player is gorgeous! Is it available in other colors or do you mind if I recolor it? I got one very similar IRL in a pastel yellow that I am repainting to a dusty blue color with copper or ORB mesh.
Absolutely you can recolor! I can message you the PSD if that would help! I'm excited to see what you do with it : )
I cannot tell you how much I love this set, you both are amazing!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!
๐๐๐ AHH I'm glad you like it!!
