The 12 Days of Shrimpmas 2025! 🦐🎄

You better watch out, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!!

Cause it's back again! By far the most ill conceived fake holiday that has ever befallen the Sims Community!

What is Shrimpmas?
Shrimpmas is a secular Holiday Event I made up in 2022 when Ice-CreamforBreakfast bugged me to make a Christmas Tree covered in shrimp. BUT be aware not much on  this calendar will be Holiday themed, expect more random pieces- stuff you might find between your CC Couch Cushions, things like that. A good mix of CAS and Build Buy!

And this year I have backup! 🚨🚨🚨

About a month ago I put out a call to the Simblr community, inviting my fellow creators to gather around the Shrimpmas tree, hold hands, and warm ourselves against the hot glow of electric shellfish. SO!! NEW THIS YEAR! Throughout Shrimpmas, Simmers on tumblr will ALSO be leaving some rather spectacular presents of their own in the #shrimpmas2025 tag!

I'll be reblogging them as they appear to my tumblr, and I'll also make a masterpost at the end of Shrimpmas with all the creators who decide to join in! BUT during the event:

✨ Make sure to keep a close eye on the community #shrimpmas2025 tag! ✨

So, have you been good this year? - Well then, let's get started.

DAY 1 - SHRIMP COCKTAIL DRESS & FASCINATOR

🎵 Shrimply having a wonderful fishmas time. 🎵

KNOWN ISSUES: Really bad at sitting, very silly. (It helps the skirt move better) Minor clipping, and a ground shadow darker than satan's asshole. (That one's on EA, there's not much I can do for that)

DAY 2 - DEVILED EGG CLOCK

Based on the fabulous work of Mexakitsch, this clock has two spinning hands that always tell the wrong time!

DAY 3 - HOOVEY DOOVEY VINTAGE VACUUM OVERRIDE

🔴 !! Overrides the Lowest Quality Vacuum from SP22 Bust the Dust.
The Only Reason this is an override is because for some godforsaken reason EA built a floating bit of dust cyclone FX into every vacuum, and this was the only way to get rid of it. (Trust me, I dug through the tuning for a good couple of hours, that thing is BURIED and/or controlled in a way S4S can't fix)

Base Game Compatible Deco Version available as well for the discerning (and dust avoidant) simmer.

DAY 4 - LAZY DAY PAJAMAS

Full Body PJs for the Masc Frame! One click jim jams cause nobody got time for all that.
💤 ACC Robe Overlay in Bracelets
💤 30 striped swatches, 35 patterned swatches

DAY 5 - NEATLY WRAPPED DRESS AND ACCESSORY BOLERO

💝 Bolero located in Rings and uses the Hat space. Will conflict with Hats!

DAY 6 - SUITE LIFE INDOOR GRILL

Today's gift is a special wish from Lot51! He wanted an indoor grill to pair with his fabulous Suite Life Hotel Mod so the Hotel Chefs didn't have to go outside to fulfill Room Service Orders.

It slots to counters! Use it at your hotels, use it at home, impress your friends with grilled meats while setting off your smoke alarm!

*You don't need the mod to use this grill, it's just an appliance - but it is a really damn good mod, so if you wanna play with actually good Hotels I'd check it out!

DAY 7 - HIGH PROOF COCKTAIL CAT TREE

🔴 Requires EP04 Cats and Dogs!

25 swatches in the Juno Birch Palette!

DAY 8 - ROCKET 69 TRASH BIN

I've always wanted to make a Bin with a lid that swings inwards, and previously it wasn't feasible with the way it would animate!

🟢 Should be Base Game Compatible. LMK if it gives you any guff.

DAY 9 - RICHARD SUIT

I was complaining that we don't have any truly 90s feeling suits in the game. A few come close but never exactly hit the mark. So this is based on the Armani Suits that shaped the Business Men and Rom Com Stars of the decade!

📈 Comes in two variants, a V1 with just the Richard Suit, and a V2 with added Winter Gere.

DAY 10 - SURELITZER ELECTRIC ORGAN

A portable Electric Organ as a present for DoctorSimcraft!
If you like vintage cc, she recently released a fabulous vintage Salon set, you can support her here for $2 (free Jan 1st)!

Comes in three versions, 40 swatches each!
🎹: Organ (Requires GP04 Vampires)
🎹: Keyboard (Requires EP03 City Living)
🎹: Piano (Base Game Compatible)

I don't recommend keeping all of them, but hey, it's shrimpmas, knock yourself out.

DAY 11 - SHOOBY'S MAGIC DRAGON

He's just a little guy!

DAY 12 - SPACE FROG BEDROOM SET

A Chic? Vintage Bedroom Set as a present for Ice-CreamforBreakfast!

Known Issues: I lowered the mattress on the full bed, so sometimes the feet will clip into the floor a little bit, but otherwise everything should work fine.

🐸: Includes a Bed, Separated Bed Frame, and a Dresser!

🎄 Shrimpmas is now over! Have a great rest of your year! 🎄
