Lancaster Boarding House 1.1 - Released To Tier 3
It's here! The latest version of Lancaster Boarding House is now available for download to Tier 3 Patrons and it will become available to the other Tiers as scheduled. The story goes on after the lake party and brings new events and curious scenarios, as well as exciting new adventures! As said in a previous post Anna has the spotlight but Chloe, Rose and some new faces make themselves known! I believe this update is even better than the demo version but I'll let you be the judge of that... It seems there's more to the story that previously thought... No more spoilers!
Also, some scenes will be accessed if you have done certain things (This will be made clear in the walkthrough in a few days.)
Finally found a better video converter for the animations, so expect them to only get better from now on! I really hope there is enough time in the next update to try out something new with the video animations.
Added a new part time member to the team and a French translation is coming soon!
Next week we're going to have the walkthrough as well as the demo version translated to french, the translation will be one version behind since it takes time to translate every word. (No google translate, no no!)

Also, it would be great to see a fulfilling route where you stay faithful. You mention in a previous post that there is no way around having less content when you do not pursue multiple girls. Please challenge that idea. More alternative paths and renders with the girls would be needed, but I think it is a worthy goal to make each path fulfilling. I wouldn’t want to sacrifice monthly content, but perhaps filling in alternative scenes later for replay-ability might be appropriate. That being said, I’ll pursue the harem path initially, because I don’t want to miss all of the quality content provided. One month’s update is never enough with good stories. Please cram as much as you can into them. Good luck with your tale!
I really enjoyed this and I am looking forward to seeing how the routes develop. I’m interested if there will be friend and adversary routes with Jason. The MC not being the only male seeking gratification. It would be enjoyable to befriend or fend off a rival (and to see what happens if you do not do so).
I just wanted to say that I find it, well dishonest isn't the right word, but inaccurate to call this a v1.0+ it is so short its it not a complete game and i think this is misleading to subscribers. Would be better to call it v0.6, v0.7 etc until a fuller story is present. This felt like an extension of the demo when I was expecting a lot more. I still love the content but the versions in comparison to versions used for my girlfriends amnesia was misleading
Actually, the reason why version numbers were changed from 0.1 to 1.1 is because I find it a bit weird. Here's why : A version 0.1, 0.2, etc usually means that there are a lot of changes still to come to the framework of the game, might mean a lot of bugs, glitchy gameplay, unstable version. With VN that's not the case since the base framework of the game is most likely not going to change, it's stable, small amount of bugs, if any and so on. The thought process is 1.1 where the first 1 is supposed to mean part1 and the second 1 update 1... I guess I should mention that in the description though. As for the amount of content, higher quality means more work = less quantity, not only that but in Ren'py you don't have a character to roam the map with, thus taking more time and giving the impression of longer gameplay. I also wanted to trim out the sex scenes compared to MGA where there would be around 6 or more animations, I felt like it watered down the gameplay by offering everything so easy. It takes around 1-2 hours for one render, having 130 images x 2 hours each that's 260 work hours in 30 days + the animation taking from 14 hours to 20+ you can imagine how little time is left for anything else... Hopefully a machine upgrade will come soon (few months) reducing the time needed for renders.
Hey i played the demo version from "My Girlfriend's Amnesia" and i have a small critic point. When the mc has a sex scene and you are in the "person of view" perspective, i really dont like the fact, that you cant see the face/upper body of the girl. Maybe you could change it to a "over the shoulder" perspective for your new game, so it is possible to see more of the girl. Or into 3 person where the head of the mc is out of the frame (if you dont want a complete character model for the mc). Anyways this is just my opinion ;)
