Return Date and Plans
I’ve officially pushed back the return date and I’ve decided to change my philosophy with my work schedule going forward.
Instead of this idea that I can only work on castle Swimmer and can’t touch Bird Boys until it’s completely finished, I’m going to work on both at the same time. (Essentially I’m going to draw less panels of castle swimmer daily so they will look nicer and I will also leave some time to prepare for Bird Boy stuff and start building up the Patreon.)
I’ve tried this out for a few weeks and it really healed my soul! 😂 so we will see how it goes.
The only issue is that this change affects my income so I’ve decided to start working on more stuff for Patreon!
So for the future tiers of the Patreon I envision three main ones:
The current 1 dollar tier for previews and updates, a 5 dollar tier for viewing comic pages early way ahead of when they will be posted for free, and a 10 dollar NSFW tier that features Bird Boy characters (no castle swimmer stuff)
Since I’m not allowed to post CS episodes here early I think I can only launch the NSFW tier so I will plan to work on that soon. I’m gonna take a trip to Japan next week to try and reset my brain so when I return I will start prepping.
I’m very excited for the new tier, I have a lot of fun drawing NSFW but I’ve never had a reason to before now 😂 I’m not sure how much interest there will be since it doesn’t feature CS characters but hopefully it will be something that grows over time and can help support me while I spend more time on the webtoon.
So if you’re over 18 and that interests you, keep an eye out! But don’t feel pressured! It’ll probably be the most expensive tier and just following me here and reading my work is plenty of support already! 🙏💖
I will still be sharing previews for the webtoon episodes here, however I’ve reached a point in the story where almost every panel is a spoiler 😂 so I’m gonna look for things I can share that don’t give too much away.

I have a question. Are Siren and Kappa Asexual? Or is the reason for no nsfw for them is because they’re fish like(totally understandable for not drawing it if that’s the reason).
The main reason is because it’s a story with a lot more younger readers where as bird boys is more mature and intended to have an adult audience. Also I’m not sure webtoon would allow me to do NSFW of CS even if I wanted to.
I’m so glad that you changed your philosophy regarding your work schedule! I could definitely relate since I used to force myself to shackles when drawing, only allowing myself to commit to one project before moving onto the next! Until one day — I decided to allow myself to work on three projects simultaneously! I realized that I liked working on different stuff & different characters! It’s definitely been a good change! 💪✨ Also, I’m hoping you have a fun time in Japan! If you get the chance — I would totally recommend visiting one of the Pokémon Centers! :D

Echoing the happy and sad feeling from another comment. It’s good for you long term and that’s what’s most important. I am happy to support you at the $10 tier, I’m wanting to make sure you are able to get by just fine with the change in how you do your work now. Any estimate or just an idea of when the return might be? I’m thinking like end of 2026 or early/mid 2027 with the new 2 week schedule you have talked about an update or two back. Which means roughly like 2 episodes in a month? And based on where the previews left off.
Yes that’s similar to what I was thinking! There will be a lot of very challenging episodes so there’s some that might take me longer but I hope to finish two a month! And thank you so much for your support 💖

As sad as I am knowing we'll have to wait longer for the CS content, I would much rather you not work yourself into an early mental grave and be proud of your art rather than feel like your just checking boxes for some corporate quota. Scary to think we are this close to the end (and that nearly every panel is spoiler-y). It genuinely makes me fear for what you're going to put these boys through leading up the finale. I'm personally not into NSFW content, but I'm glad you're excited for your future works! Doesn't mean I'll stop supporting you however I can, though! Take care of yourself, have fun in Japan (jealous!), and most importantly, be kind to yourself.
