Monster's Inc. (UNEDITED)
Hey guys!
Absolutely LOVE this movie!
I had an objective with this reaction, and I SUCCEEDED! FUCK YES!!!!!
They are going to love this one!
The thing that I love most about Disney/Pixar movies is they bake really excellent life lessons into their movies.
One of my favorite movies of all time!
Love you guys,
Alex
ps: Ava specifically asked for this movie, so it was really weird it won the poll lol

lizard dude is blind so
feels like usa they love cars and i think only ones who write on sign and traffic lights. like its not obvious you need to walk when its green
that first kid looks like kid from toy story( bad one) and they love mixing worlds
actually want to see if you can pull it of:D clearly you cant act normal so maybe you have better control over you tongue
Monsters at Work is a show that continues the story. It's more of a spin-off in this world. But it does take place in Monsters Inc.
Next one moana please 🙏
And that was probably the first and last time seeing this man make a family friendly reaction video. What a pleasantly weird experience. 10/10.
Please watch monsters university 😭 😭 😭
I love how much restraint Alex but into this reaction for his nieces. As a mom IMO there were a few questionable comments made, for the ages of said nieces...But this is Alex... and I'm sure without a doubt this is how he acts around them so they are most likely used to his off the wall comments. I know I do find them entertaining. And I really appreciate the thought and consideration put into the reaction and it shows the love he really has for his nieces. Awesome reaction.
You mentioned how Pixar pays attention to every detail. The code 2319 is a reference to the 23rd and 19th letters of the alphabet, W and S, short for White Sock. How's that for detail.
My friend and I were on a Greek beach and my friend was collecting pretty shells and putting them in her bikini bra cos we were clambering over the rock pools so she needed to stay hands free. The problem was some of those pretty shells had hermit crabs in them and started scrabbling at her boobs🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No idea how you keep it family friendly, and it’s weird to see haha. It is very sad we keep it family friendly this reaction, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make a family member happy, and be allowed to watch. I could never do it, I would say swear words and non kid friendly jokes without even realizing haha. It’s just a normal day in life, and it is nothing i would change obviously.
And just how many librarians are we talking about?
Are we going to get child friendly reactions to the rest of the monsters inc. content. Being Monsters University and Monsters at work? I would love to watch those with my son as well.
can u watch hunter x hunter or bohemian rhapsody
Monsters University is my favorite of the two both 10/10
Oh, maybe this means I can watch this with my son! I’ll still watch this first to see how that works out.
Honestly monster inc is the perfect 1 off if there was another one it would ruin it but you know the prequel is nice but a sequel would ruin it
The part where they were at the restaurant, and talked about a kid shooting them with lasers and shaking them with mind powers, that was Jak Jak, from The Incredibles
No reaction to the blooper reel is criminal
Alex needs to watch Monsters University before talking bad about Mike when he was mad. Mike and Sully need each other. Both provide a lot to each other.
alex plsss re upload your x-men movie reactions i love those movies
For making this specific for kids Alex is sure pausing a crap load and not holding attention spans lmao
I tried to watch this one with my toddler and he kept getting pissed when Alex would pause 😂
You should watch the prequel as well!
Alex I just wanted to say, as an uncle myself with twin nephews, I think you did a great job with this reaction :) Hope your nieces enjoy it
The restaurant "Harryhausen's" is named after Ray Harryhausen (1920–2013), an American-British animator and special effects creator widely regarded as the most influential figure in the history of stop-motion animation. He is considered the father of monster movies. Inspired by Willis H. O'Brien's work on King Kong, Harryhausen developed a proprietary technique called "Dynamation" to seamlessly blend his animated models with live-action footage. He is best known for bringing mythological and prehistoric creatures to life in classic fantasy and sci-fi films, including The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), Jason and the Argonauts (1963), and Clash of the Titans (1981). His iconic creations, such as the sword-fighting skeletons and the Kraken, have inspired generations of filmmakers, including Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Peter Jackson.
'Monsters at Work' is the sequel series to this movie, if u want to check it out.
There’s a theory when jack jack from the incredibles teleports to another dimension, he’s in the monster dimension. During the interviews after the restaurant incident, the one talks about the kid having powers. All of which are actually apart of jack jack’s powers.
Im suprised he didnt Google boos age
Monsters University would be a cool reaction never seen it myself.
I still remember the first I saw this. It was at a dentist in 2007 or 08. And I ended up finishing it on a friends DVD that they brought to school later that week
the "ITS SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE!!!" girl form despicable me is a close front runner for/against Boo, off the top of my head. Maybe if I googled id find something, but fuck that because both Boo and the fluffy hoe are too fucking cute for words. Adorableness incarnate 🥲
Hey alex there are bloopers of the film in the credits plz go back and watch. There is also a bit of the play mike and sully talked about
Can't get used to family friendly Alex, im brain broken. 😆
Ok...perhaps new rule? If a movie wins a poll but Alex has seen it before, perhaps move on to the next most-voted movie that he hasn't seen yet.
RIP to all of Alex’s hermit crabs 😭
You need to check out Monsters University!
I had hermit crabs as a kid recently got 3 as an adult and 2 died during a cold snap i think they cannibalised the 3rd one before their deaths tho. Cos i found his shell but nothing of him...
Fun fact they actually had a toddler voice boo. It was Rob Gibbs who is the story board and animator daughter Mary Gibbs and it was incredibly challenging bc she was constantly moving around the office so they had a guy with a boom arm constantly following her around to get voice lines for boo
There’s some footage of it out there and it’s freaking hilarious 🤣 Just a group of adults quietly following a little 3 year old around with all this early 2000’s recording equipment as she explores and plays in the Pixar offices, waiting for her to make sounds they can use or her dad gently coaxing her to do what they need, lol
To be fair, without the factory the whole city collapses into darkness and thousands of jobs disappear. He’s right to care about the company as it’s necessary for the city’s survival, HOWEVER, he went about the wrong way and was afraid to try new things and committed crimes to keep it. Also Nemo was foreshadowing for Pixar’s next movie.
Give us monster house reaction for halloween
how to make a 9yo laugh?.. continues to make adults laugh 😂
Honestly it would be an awesome thing to do 2 movies a week, one adult themed normal Alex and one kid friendly cartoon family movie.
I’m glad you enjoyed this old and gold movie, btw, you should watch Monsters University next, it’s a prequel to this one which goes into Mike and Sully’s characters a lot more, mainly Mike
It's weird because I just saw him react to the Season 7 premiere of Walking Dead, and now I come over here.
I was never afraid of the dark until I saw a Boogeyman movie where he came out of dark closets. I've pretty much never kept my closets open at night after seeing that at around 6 years old.
Weird dances are also how to make a 29 year old laugh 😂
oh yeah, i watched "IT" you know the one with Pennywise when i were 7 and after that i had a Fear of THAT clown, i would have nightmares about him, i would be in a field of clouds, and then suddenly he would pop up from one cloud in the distance and then disappear into that cloud again only to appear in a closer cloud until he would pop up right infront of me and begin strangling me, and then morph his mouth into a twisted leech-like toothy mouth and lunge towards my face to eat my head. and thats when id usually wake up. i had those nightmares on/off for about 10 years. but then i saw the movie again when i were 17 and i found it hillarious instead.
This was a fun blast to the past
Please watch this video! https://youtu.be/QfRNiNYdJBA?is=EIc9JgeQySnLKOpt It is the Pixar Theory, it explains the Pixar timeline and when and how everything is connected and it is so interesting! It goes into how important remembering someone is and that that is the theme behind each and every Pixar movie, and it all centers around and comes back to Boo! Strongly encourage a watch! Loved the reaction!
Alex trying to show us Cielia's legs while his portrait is in the way is 100% on brand. Ava, your uncle used to be a lawyer, btw.
Dude this movie messed me up as a kid when I first saw it on VHS. They’re a lot of adult themes in this one. Kidnapping, child endangerment, child attempted murder, being choked too death, etc. ahh the good old days of Disney. Back when Disney actually had creative ideas and balls to do stuff
Bahaha “that’s actually not that painful…. OW!” 🤣
Plzzz Watch the second one too
More animation, PLEASE! This was fun and the wholesome vibe added some great variety.
Variety? It feels like animation is 50% of Alex’s content. I like it when there’s variety but it’s starting to feel excessive to me.
Oof... right in my childhood.
there is a sequel tho! monsters university or so, its called
It’s more of a prequel rather than a sequel. Their were plans of them doing a sequel with grown up boo.
you can tell when alex wants to make dirty jokes lmao. hope ur niece's enjoy!
You have got to react to Monster's University after this!
Let’s goo!
I skipped ahead a sec cause I’m eating and see that at 1:53 😭😂😂
We got family friendly Alex before GTA 6 lol
dude. please dont. thats old af and the actor of michael in gta5 has even said its old and annoying at this point.
Glad he decided to wear pants for this one W unc Alexx for no scarring his nieces 😂
I watched Monster House as a kid and couldn't sleep for days afterwards
Great movie
Isn’t there some other Pixar movie where they have Sully’s hide as a carpet? There are a TON of crossover examples like that, but damn that was a dark ass one. Forget which film if was from but I’m sure there are some even darker ones 💀💀
I don’t remember what it was but I heard bout that too!
Alex fun fact in the news report when the monsters were complaining about the kid and what they saw… they were actually describing Jack Jack the baby from the incredibles
Yesss love this movie
BOOM BOOM BOOOM! Now , Next Friday , you do monsters university and finish this movie series off !
Eh I rather watch the more fun version of monster university and it’s called Animal house. Don’t get me wrong MU is a fun movie but their are more fun college movies at there
Can you react to Rio it’s a funny movie trust me you’ll like it
Fun Fact! That restaurant that Mike went to for his date, it was originally supposed to explode instead of having a green force field. It was changed to the force field partway through the creation of the movie due to the events of 9/11. You can actually look up footage of the original, it’s on YouTube.
Well that's some lore about this movie I didn't know
The intro is just 🤌🏼love this movie
Let’s go!! Family friendly time 😅💀
Yes! One of my top three Pixar movies!
Holy timing 1:30 am
YESSSSS
Perfect movie for a sick day
Nice
