Uff I really dont like this monster series from Netflix. So many things are misrepresented and don’t match what actually happened. Honestly, this thirst for sensationalism that people have when they watch this—and true crime shows in general—really disgusts me. And unfortunately, many people don’t think about the impact these shows have on the victims’ families; sadly, such shows are often made without their consent, which is unfortunately the case here with Monsters. We shouldn’t support this kind of thing—I find it truly shameful. It’s just my opinion, but maybe we should think a little more about what we’re actually watching, how it affects the victims’ families, and how far these projects stray from the true story.
