I have bought a motion capture suit!

I have just received a package yesterday, that I ordered a while ago. Sadly I need to wait for a little usb c to usb a connector before I can use it, but it should hopefully shake things up a little bit from now on :3

I have bought a motion capture suit! I have already learnt how to transfer motion capture a few years back, so once I get the adapter, i should be able to just record anything, and get the animations fairly fast onto my rigs. (no promises, but I pray itll work that way xD)

I am sooo excited, as Ive been wanting to play with motion capture since I first got into 3d a looooooong time ago.

The main reason I bought it is because itll help with game animations in general, and especially cinematic animations.

I also see potential uses for it when it comes to some non game animations. I am 1 person, so I cant use it to make couple animations. that will still be animated by hand, but I can far quicker do solo type animations like teasing and jacking off animations, where the body movements get recorded with motion capture, then i animate over it to add in the genetalia animations and whatever details id normally do.

one thing that would also be awesome down the line is if even though i animate sex animations by hand fully, I can add in some extra mocap animation before the sex start.

Ex alexstrasza walking into a shot, getting into position/sitting down on the bed or something. animating that manually/by hand would take hours on end on its own, but motioncapture can 60-80% reduce the time!
