On The Recent Lack of Releases
Hello, everyone.
Making a public post so everyone can read this.
I've been hoping to write this once I managed to complete the latest KoS update, but that's been taking longer than I hoped, so here I am, writing some words on the subject of the slow and uneven release schedule through the past few months.
This is something I should've done sooner. I used to be quite good at communicating with my patrons, but that's a skill that I've been losing as of late. If I had to say way, it's probably because I was ashamed of citing excuse after excuse for the delays over the past few months.
However, even if it means having to give out excuses again, I realized it's better to just be up-front and communicate properly.
The last year has been difficult for me in many respects. There's the burnout issue that I mentioned before... but it's not just that.
Health-wise things have been uneven, and starting February there was a very big change in my living situation that has been difficult to balance with my work here as a developer. I don't want to go into too much detail, since it's something deeply personal, but it's a change that has forced me to change practically everything about my life. As a result, time to sit down to work on these games I love was minimal for several months. And when I did have the time, I was too exhausted to make any significant progress.
It was frustrating, and depressing, and everything kind of just built-up on top of each other to keep me trapped in a never-ending spiral of frustration. Both over some of my personal circumstances, and my inability to work on my games with the same amount of time and care that I used to.
I want that to stop. And I will make it stop. I deeply wish nothing more than to go back to how I used to be.
Thankfully, it seems like I've found a solution to allow me to work steadily on 'King of Summer' (and other games) again. While I can't promise I'll be able to return to weekly releases soon, I think I'm at least on the road to by-weekly releases (which is definitely an improvement over the current 1 month+ cycle).
And of course, I promise to start communicating a little bit better going forward, although I might fail from time to time.
I want to thank you, all of my patrons, for supporting me even during this dry period. I know it's been frustrating for many to not get the same amount of content as you used to, but believe me, the most frustrated person here is me.
I sincerely want to keep making these games, to make new stories, to finish KoS (it's so close), and I'm making a big effort to ensure I'm in the right space health-wise and energy-wise to ensure this.
There's plenty more of naughtiness for me to give, that's for sure!
So once more, thank you everybody... for your support, patience and kind words. And I hope you can start looking forward to everything I have in store.

hope your new game A Thoughtless Embrace has choices, like summer did. love your ntr games.
I hope to see Mary's dual penetration
Hey man, nothing is more important than your health, I have been with you since 0.5 of the king of summer, and I wanna say I support you (even tho I am broke myself 😢) but yaaa, forget the game, focus on your health and get well soon
Hey man honestly I feel like though I can't speak for anyone when it comes to these kind of games and their communities, I'm going to anyway. So, take the time that you need to make the things you love healthily and at a pace you can be satisfied with. While words themselves sometimes don't feel as good as actions, know that even with monthly content drops, drops in motivation, breaks, and anything else that would lead to a community member getting sour, as long as your at least communicating and letting your audience know what's going on, we can't for anymore than that~.
Any updates on Thoughtless Embrace?
