Development Updates (3): Next Release, Kendo Ending 2, Isle of Fall

I wanted to make a post to keep you guys updated in how all the various releases are progressing.

Next King of Summer Early Release: Monday the 30th

That's right folks, no release next week!

It has been a couple of slow months for me, as certain obligations and the holidays have gotten in the way of me finding time to work on the next updates. I don't want to release something half-assed to my precious Dandy Patrons, which is why I'm giving myself a few extra days. I'm not exactly going to be resting, I'm just trying to catch up to work.

Of course, that means all releases will take one week more than usual. Hopefully you can understand!

As to what I'm going to be focusing on, that'll be...

Kendo Ending 2

That's right, some much needed main story progress!

I caught some of you players talking as if I had already finished the story. But it's not! We've got some more conclusive endings, and one of them will be my focus for the next few updates.

But what exactly is this ending going to be about?

I'll try not to spoil much. But this is an alternative version of the 1st Ending, which only required having seen the 3 dates and for Satoshi to keep saying that he loves Mary.

For this next ending, the requirements will be as follows:

• To have seen all the story events outside the three dates in Kendo's route (in particular the ones related to Arato)

• To have seen all the Satoshi x Shizuka night events

• -Answer in a certain way during Mary's conversation before triggering the ending that implies Satoshi may be in love with someone else

• Be under Manly Level 80 (currently unattainable)

This ending will proceed similarly until Satoshi's and Shizuka's scene together, after which it'll branch off into a completely new direction!

I'm planning to also add some more Kendo x Mary segments that'll occur after the reveal scene, giving them more time to boast their relationship and have some kinky fun before it comes to an end.

This ending will have both Arato and Shizuka play a much bigger role, as Arato's obsession with Mary forces him to accept a certain deal. He'll fully play into his role as a villain, and who knows, maybe this time he'll get what he wants.

When faced with a difficult choice, will Mary be able to keep up her trust on Kendo? Or will certain machinations get to her heart and mind, and wake her up from the blissful joy she's been drowning on so far?

And Kendo might also need to contend with a new foe. Up until now he's had his way with several ladies, but he's been careful to avoid Shizuka... until now. Will his usual charms work with this girl? Or was he perhaps right to stay out of her sights?

Isle of Fall v 0.3

And I can't not mention Isle of fall, which you guys seem to have enjoyed a lot! Where is Isle of Fall, they ask me on the streets. Saying stuff like it's better than the main game, the nerve of you!

But well, it's very fun to work on, and one of my ulterior motives for making it was to show you all that I can produce some quality stuff outside of King of Summer, even if I'm using the same characters. So enjoy it more than the main game, I don't mind!

In any case, I bet you're wondering when the next update is gonna release, huh? And how much progress has been made.

I am happy to announce that around 2% of the update is done! And that I cannot, at all, promise when it'll come out!
