Weekly Blog Post 10/25/206 Alissa's Path through Purity or Corruption
Welcome back everyone!
With October nearing its end, we are happy to announce that development of Episodes 0-1 of Velvet Legacy is nearing the halfway mark. We are very much on track to release an update at the end of November!
As we mentioned last week our new MC, Alissa, is coming to terms with her Path's in life. Like The Hero from King's Fall, both will have to arrive at new responsibilities as well as understanding that not everything is black and white. Alissa will fail, she will grow, and depending on how you choose her story... You will change her for the better or... For what is necessary.
One of the best things we ever added to King's Fall was the Lovers and Corruption Storylines. You could basically have 2 different games and experiences with 1 simple choice and we're bringing it back full swing with Velvet Legacy.
Starting in Episode 0, you will get a crash course of Alissa's middle ground. How she normally is in her every day life. When her father is taken and the horrors of life arrive along with what Legacy means to her, you will then make one simple choice. Keep her Pure for her father's sake, or... Corrupt her and everyone in the village for her mother's sake.
Purity leads to Alissa doing things the hard way. She questions, writes down clues, and is basically becoming a cornerstone of her community. Her femanine side is basically ignored until near the end of the game as she tries to channel a leadership role just as her father wanted for her. There will still be sex scenes but most will be around Alissa keeping her Purity for the same of focusing on getting her father back.
Corruption is the polar opposite. Her mother will channel what she learned as an elf and Alissa will put aside everything including shame and trust to fast track everything she could do to keep her mother sane and her father in the crossroads. She will lose her virginity early on and begin to welcome sexual encounters of any manner.
The game is split between both Routes so really, you're getting 2 different games, and 2 different experiences based on your choice.
The game will launch with Two Episodes and Two Full Routes done for Episode 1. You will get 6+ sex scenes and 6 overall different sex events as well. as of the time of this Blog Post, expect about 6 hours give or take how fast you read for this 1st beta. It's going to be hefty!
Join us next week for more teasers but we look forward to showing off more!
