Weekly Blog Post 7/12/26: Ereve, Cygnus, and The Civil War

Welcome back everyone!

The work continues as we are fresh off the heals of releasing our Scars of Dummer VN Test for our new Bastard Engine. This is a reminder to check it out and give us feedback!
But in the mean time, we're here to discuss Ereve! The next major update for King's Fall!

The Island of Ereve has been expanded and with it, it has enough space that we'll finally square away the Civil War Storyline we added nearly 5 years ago!

The Wait for Hermes will bring forth enough time to see this story to it's conclusion but before that, there will be a bunch of new characters to meet! The most important... Cygnus, The Wind Dragon Speaker.

Cygnus is the reingning Queen of Ereve and the sole protector of The Ere as her father before hand... Was murdered. The murderer then has most likely returned as just when the Queen asks the Hero to visit, something terrible happens.

The Ereve Storyline is vastly different to what we've done before as not only are there 5 endings, but you can trigger bad ones almost right away! You will gather clues, suspects, and find out what is plaguing the isles before and after the Hero arrived. All of this is wrapped around The Ere so if you like Furry Content, you'll be seeing some sex scenes in between this Murder Plot.

The grand finale will be based on your Evidence, The Suspects, and who you end up blaming. You'll either get a Bad Ending, a Good Ending, or The True Ending. All of this ties into War Readiness so if you make an enemy of The Ere... Brace for consequences later.
The storyline is very well put together so we cannot wait to show you all how it goes!

See you next week as we introduce more characters for you all. Stay safe out there!
