I come here today after some crazy times, with a comics festival included (FIBD in Angouleme! I can talk more about this over the chats if you want!), to share a little bit of wholesomeness as much needed medicine for the heart.
Before I get into the message I wanted to share with y'all, this:

I shared a WIP yesterday with my fellow patootie paid patreons, and I also sent them a message about a week ago that I'd like to share with all of you. I want this to be a safe space and a break from all the chaos, but I think it's important to say this:
It's been really hard to watch and swallow the things that are going on in the world lately, especially this past two weeks. It's scary, frustrating and honestly hard to believe. I've been silent trying to understand (and kind of... grieve for humanity) and not knowing how to act, thinking how to be there for you while I process what all of this might mean for my own future.
I know I'm not the only one.
And I can't even imagine how my fellow people from the US and other parts of the world in similar situations (or on the way to be) are feeling right now.
I don't have much power or influence, but if I can at least make your days a bit brighter, then I'll try with all my heart. I'm still thinking of the ways I can show up for you, but in the meantime, if you have any suggestions or ideas please feel free to drop them in the comments, or in DMs here or Instagram (for now).Before I go, I want to encourage you to support any creators (or anyone, really) that might be in vulnerable positions, if you're able to!
To those of you that want to support people that might need it more than I do, might be struggling, or need to cut back on spending, please don't hesitate to unsubscribe or even ask for a refund if you need it ❤️ (putting this here as well since some of you might not read the chats!)

I’m from Canada, I am so sad for you. Even if I was I distressed last week, I regained hope yesterday. For real, somebody will do something. We have to keep faith in humanity. What is happening now, it happened in the past ; we are not that dumb at the point that we will watch it happen without doing anything. I believe in the governments around the words that they will team up and actually do something. I hope it is not too stressful for you there. Keep hope ; I cannot believe we are that dumb ✨
Yep I feel you, it's such a rollercoaster of emotions it's hard to keep up... and going sometimes, but if there's something that being in this situation has shown me is that there's also a huge amount of good people out there. I refuse to believe we're done. We'll overcome this together ✨💖 Thank you for your words by the way, it means a lot 🫂

Aaaahhh you're so kind, thank you for your words too!! ❤️ It's hard sometimes, but I try to keep myself informed while protecting my peace -which is... a challenge. xD And sadly yeah I'm seeing this insanity happening everywhere, it really feels surreal, I can't even begin to understand. It's not like we don't have a precedent and experience (especially Germany, like what O_O), to know exactly where this can go *sigh*. I just hope that what's currently happening in the US opens people's eyes because... wow. I don't even know where to begin. The injustice sensitivity audhd gremlin inside of me is having a hard time containing himself, ngl. 🌈BUT ANYWAY YES HAPPINESS RAINBOWS GLITTERS UNICORS AND MORE RAINBOWS🌈 ahem, welcome to my TED talk.

I love it so much! And as you say "we aren't going anywhere" I'm certain that we will win this fight even though it's gonna be a hard and painfull one. We are gonna get through this, with eachother and we will keep reminding people that we are here and that they will have to deal with that fact.
