So what is this contest I'm talking about?

Well, it's The Global Comic Awards hosted by Tapas with Clip Studio Paint (my painting software)! ✨

I loved the theme (The last train) and there is a lot of Japanese publishers watching (ahem, yeah one can dream ok) so I was really enthusiastic about participating, but my time and capacity were very limited so I pushed that aside.

Now, with one month and a half submission period to get it done... my brain, for some reason, decided that in no way I was gonna let another contest or event I was excited about to pass like that. With just 48h left. Yyyyeah.

The audhd last minute rush won, and damn that was effective 😂It was crazy, had LOTS of fun (and with the help of the amazing DantonSlip💖), I managed to submit it... 6 minutes before the deadline ಡ⁠ ͜⁠ ⁠ʖ⁠ ⁠ಡ

I couldn't fit everything I wanted because of the little time I had, so I needed to cut, plus leave my perfectionism aside and just get it done.
IT WAS TOUGH OKAY. ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

It's not that polished and I can see now a lot of flaws... But I managed! I feel like I learnt a lot, having a challenge like this is really encouraging and helps seeing the process in a different light.
In any case, regardless of the results, I feel like I already won a battle against myself with... myself (?) 🥹 SO YAY ME! I hope you will enjoy it!!!

It is based on a comfort story that I have on the side, that was born from a joke and it naturally evolved over time. I would love to make this become a full comic one day as well! ❤️

You have humans, demons, smexy people (ofc), humor, everyday mundane struggles in different planes of existence (yeah lol) and gaeh. Lots of gaeh. 🌈
