[Cherry Waves] π Boyos refreshed! π
More summer happy boyos for you!! This time our fav Trev sandwich! :3
You might, oh, recognize this illustration! (and the waves, I'll use them till the end of time, sorry not sorry ಑β Νβ β Κβ β ಑) And if you do, yes you guessed right! I finally did an update for the cover illustration yeyyyβ¨β¨β¨β¨
I know a lot of you liked the other version, and I know it's not that bad but... it kept bugging me that there was something about it that didn't feel quite right. The vibe of the colors, the rendering and ESPECIALLY, Josh & Matt's faces were... weird. At the very least those needed an upgrade xD
Now Josh doesn't look derp (I hope), and Matt looks like... well, Matt.
But yeah I ended up redoing the entire thing cause I KNEW it would keep bugging me if I didn't. π
I tried to make a cleaner, more flat yet vibrant coloring, closer to the actual comic. It reads better from afar and I also think it reflects better the vibe of the story!
All in all, I reaaaally hope you like it! π
This is not the final composition but I wanted to share the full thingie with you before it sees the light of the day anywhere else. When the time comes I will share the actual cover and more exciting things with you.
I made the first image FullHD, in case you might want to use it as a wallpaper or whatever your fancy gaeh marvelous patootie booties desire! π
ANYWAY (I love me my anyways, I just never know how to end stuff, do I? π).
I just wanted to let you know that I will be uploading an "Announcement/Hey I'm here I still exist" update in Webtoon and Tapas soon, most likely tomorrow! I won't be able to tell specific dates but I will give an estimate for Cherry Waves return, which will likely be around next month!
ππππOkay buh-bye see ya tomorrow! ππππ
ENJOY THE BOOTY TOUCHING (Okay that sounded weird, I mean their... booties, like, them at the beach n' stuff. Hm. Yeah.)
PS I might or might not be here vibing to old (cries) anime openings ಑β Νβ β Κβ β ಑ If you have favs pls share. I can share mine if you want lol

I listened on loop Again from Yui and Rewrite from Asian KungFu Generation for SO LONG!
Love the sandwich so much! Super delicious I bet lol!! Waves seem like a must for all cover pictures haha. And Iβm always going back and jamming to Persona game music which is a vibe. Would be interested to know your fav anime and game music too! Thanks for another beautiful pic of the babies! How do they have the right to be so cute!
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! Super delicious indeed π AND OMG PERSONA MUSIC YES. GIMME. The vibe is so cool perfectly tacky at the same time ΰ²₯β βΏβ ΰ²₯. I really think I summoned my people here with Cherry Waves I swear xD I'd love to share stuff as well, but I have sooo many thingies and so different, it's hard to decide! I'll think of something πβ¨
Super Shooter by Rip Slyme goes so hard tbh and I honestly didn't even like Gantz bc it's kinda messed up. I listen to the song a lot tho but I also feel like it's a bit of an established taste bc it sounds like it's 5 songs at once lol (I don't think it's an anime op but their song Nettaiya is so good as well!!)
DID I MENTION HOW GOOD THIS DRAWING IS BTW I AM LITERALLY OBSESSEDDDDD β¨οΈβ¨οΈπβ¨οΈπβ¨οΈπβ¨οΈβ¨οΈβ₯οΈβ€οΈππ
Holy shit-- this is amazing. UHHHHH about anime, they're not exactly old but the soundtracks to blue exorcist, banana fish and sk8 the infinity do slap quite hard Btw, why are their arms so beautiful??? Just gorg- THE SHADINGGG

Love the opening btw! Tyyyy πΉβΎοΈ Sk8 the Infinity -> I actually made a whole list that gave me the sk8 vibe around the ending and op xD
Asterisk by Orange Range is one of my old favourites to vibe to
Omg I used to listen to that one on loop! β¨ And Haruka Kanata by Asian Kung Fu Generation π
Omg I'm literally love the trev sandwich :3 and I also hope that cherry waves do come out next month yippee β¨
Also does Trev's arm have a tattoo of Ryan's name on it????
I love all of it but WAIT A DAMN MINUTE IS THAT RYAN WRITTEN ON TREVS ARM OR AM I DREAMING?! Also old anime openings hit the right way and nobody can convince me otherwise. Tell me the favs ಑β Β Νβ Β β Κβ Β β ಑ Also maybe new cherry waves next month?!!? EXCITED!!!
I don't think you're dreaming I see it too
I don't like sandwiches, but I have to say that the trev sandwich does look yummy lol I rlly like howls moving castles song, and ik it's nothing to do with anime but I really vibe to Ricky Jamaraz music lol (sorry, that's random) Anywayyyy, thank you for the update author!
