[Cherry Waves] Sneak Peek of a lil' something
Helloooo! I wanted to share with you what I'm working on right now :3
As I finish closing the scripts for the next seasons of Cherry Waves (that flow waaay better now, yay! 🎉) and finally start preparing my workflow for the storyboards, I thought it was a nice idea to finish something I've had on the backburner for a looong time. I also love how the drawings look at the lineart stage, when no colors are added yet, and I'm always sad you never get to see that! So here we go, some panels for you! ❤❤❤
This is what my workspace looks like when I work on the episodes, and this is the old storyboard (with old drawings) that I'm updating and finishing:
If you go all the way back to the first teaser where I announced the comic, you can see a tiny scene with the boys talking excited about what's to come (some of you might remember the little panels with their faces!). Well, this was originally a segment of a bigger flashforward episode were they have a little talk about what is happening in the story, and now it will be set as the introduction to Cherry Waves to make you -and the newcomers- all curious, mwahaha.
This will be good practice for the comeback! It's also nice to see how much I've learnt along the way and how much the drawing has evolved. The guys finally start looking like themselves AAAA 🌈
----------
I will share some progress with all of you, and when the time comes I'll share the final episode with some extras with my dear Meatballs Sauces and up before it gets published anywhere else :D
--------------
🌕 ALSO REGARDING THE ILLUSTRATION POLL! 🌕
The most voted theme was.... *drumroll*
🩸 VAMPIRE AU! 🩸
Closely followed by...
⚔ Dark fantasy! ⚔
YEYYY! WOOHOO!
I'm deciding the direction I'll take with it, I'll tell you more in the next days cause I'm excited and overwhelmed (in a good way) by AAAALLL THE POSSIBILITIES!
--------------
ANYWAY ILY GUYS, THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING AND HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK!
🌈 Talk to you sooooooon! 🌈
*and I'll reply to all your comments tomorrow, I went full hermit working mode and I kinda forgot about the world 😅*

My good sir I’m going to fly over there and eat your art. Love it so much. I love seeing your process. You were a massive massive reason why I started drawing again, thank you bro 💕✨🌈
I was just wondering, can any of the boyos sing or dance?
Funny you'd ask that, you'll be seeing some of this in the next chapter! 👀 So... short spoiler free answer, yes 🙈

I love seeing the process you have! It makes it even more exciting when an episode is posted since we’ve seen sneak peeks. The boys are handsome even without colors ofc🥰🥰
Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️ I'm glad you enjoy seeing this, I love being able to share some things here and there. It's lonely here when you already know all that's gonna happen 🤣 and it's fun to tease all of you a bit ngl heh, just let me know if I ever go too far with the teasing, I don't ever want to ruin the fun for you!!
