Aria (commission)
Commission I accepted back in July, I don't draw dark skin often so I had to experiment a lot with this one. I went lighter for softer color palette, but after hearing some good cautionary advice from a friend (whitewashing/r@cism allegations and such 馃槀) I tried with a darker and ended up liking it too, so have both!

While the lighter skin is indeed very nice, darker has such a gorgeous contrast, especially here against so many white elements. It even makes the highlights pop out, dark skin is just such a uniquely beautiful trait
Yup, it pops out more, I'd wish I could get that same effect with lighter skin since I usually lean towards more soft colors 馃槄
