Im not sure if anyone explained it alr, but tai the guy that you saw was shigaraki, the main villain, he been getting electrocuted and done shit to him for the past 4 months so he can awaken. The microphone guy's FRIEND was made,by the doctor, into kurogiri, the purple nomu that teleports. Hope that clears out things, youll love this season

let me rephrase my comment i deleted lol i meant to say that most people dont manifest there quirk till a certain age but there are rare cases like present mic where your quirk is already active from the go and same with the mutant quirks like the tentacle arm guy and stuff
