Bruh when dontai said what if tomura could throw something and if it hit some one it disintegrates them, I had a theory what if he use he quirk at the last second if throwing something, like how deku did with the baseball bc it was hurting him that one episode. Then the ball got more time to travel that would be crazy
Dont listen to these guys, watch the movie!! You were supposed to watch it after that “filler” episode, which was a tie in set up episode for the movie. All u really need is the final and post credit scene on that ep tho. So yes definitely watch the movie before starting the next season, it takes place during the endeavor agency arc and wont make sense after watching the next season!!!!!
We can still watch the movie during Sunday? Killing the momentum for a random side mission not related the next arc is a horrible viewing experience

Also not to mention you can't really just go back the show picks up into the end next season it's way too intense to wait to watch the movie after so much happens it's best to watch it now the movie won't feel as peak after the show

Bones tried their darndest to screw over My Villain Academy, and it's still amazing. I just wish we got a proper adaptation that included everything from the manga and had better animation.
I'm pretty sure covid was a big fracture PLUS the fact they prioritize the movie at the time. My Villain Academy would easily be one of the greatest arcs of anime if we had better animation though im ngl

I would say skip the movie for now and get back to it later. Watching the movie after all the buildup for the next arc kills the momentum. (Also, since I was first, my opinion is better than everybody else's).
