Charging up front.
hi guys! i just wanna let you know that starting September, i will start charging up front on Patreon. for example, if you join my $1 PR List tier September 12th, you will be charged immediately and you’ll have access to everything i post for early access that month. i’ve noticed multiple people pledging, downloading my content and then cancelling their pledge.. this is extremely disrespectful. it’s 1 week early access. i always post the date it becomes available to the public. it’s unfair to me, and those that are serious about their pledge... if i see anyone abusing the system after this post was made, they WILL get blocked. please don’t be that guy. i hope you guys can understand, and i appreciate every single one of my patrons!! thank you so much for supporting me, it really means the world. 💖

Hi, I just want to clear something up. I'm not in a position to pledge monthly, but when I get spare money, I prefer to pledge for a month than give that money to EA by buying an official pack. Are you saying we aren't allowed to do this? That it's a long term pledge or nothing?
hiii! what you mentioned is fine! people used to pledge, download my cc for the month and then cancel immediately, so myself / other creators wouldn’t get anything from it 😭 i don’t think it’s possible to do that anymore though! you don’t have to do anything long term :)
i honestly didn't even know this was possible, but Wow! that's just rude asf! I'm sorry people who are doing this to you, leave it to a few bad apples to ruin it for the rest of us. But hey! your an awesome creator and thank you for all the work you put into your creations.
Hi Nathan, I didn't even realize you were charging in arrears and that it's possible for patreon to do so! That was super generous of you! But in regards to this, I completely understand and agree with your actions as it is extremely rude and disrespectful to you as a creator who worked hard to release your quality content to be taken advantage of in this way. If they aren't willing to wait for 1 week or pay $1 or $3 per month for early access (which is super cheap btw compared to other creators' pledges I've seen) then they really don't deserve it at all, and a ban is completely understandable in this perspective. Anyway, just want to let you know I completely support your decision and that your CC is the bomb! My sims wouldn't look half as good as they do now without your content! :)
I'm sorry this happened to you. I've actually seen this a lot, unfortunately, with other creators. Those who really support you won't mind at all. :)
Wow thats indeed super disrespectful and not okay! You make such great content and deserve every penny for it! Though it might also be that some aren't aware that you monthly charged at first (i wasn't) ? Some creators have $1 tiers with the description:"if you just want to support me with a one time donation, cancel membership after you're charged" now i was under the impression most creators have the "charge up front" function on so i had to go to my confirmation email and underneath the bottom of the email it said you 'haven't been charged yet'. Not trying to defend anyone though!!! Its a bastard move to do and abuse that function to get early access without paying for it! <333
