A social feed for your Sims. Read it on the phone or any computer, post to it, and talk to Sims about what they posted: one account per Sim, a feed built from your save, and six social interactions.
Base game compatible. No packs, no XML Injector, no other mods needed.
THE FEED
One account per Sim in your household. Own handle, own followers.
Posts come from Sims your household knows, 80 invented strangers generated once per save, and 14 recurring characters.
Local news, a cursed brand, the conspiracy account, a dog, a grandma who types properly, a 4am insomniac, two cats.
Accounts keep their history, so a profile reads the same every visit.
Each account has a hidden mood that redraws weekly, changing how often it posts and how it sounds.
Other accounts reply to each other underneath posts.
Posts build up while you are away.
Eight trending hashtags, each with its own posts.
140 post templates, 86 reply lines, 18 trending posts, across three content packs: Everyday, Chronically Online, Unhinged.
NEWS FROM YOUR SAVE
Once a sim-day SimX compares everyone your household knows against yesterday. Whatever changed gets posted, in the local voices. 31 templates across six kinds: a death, a birth, a pregnancy, a marriage, a Sim aging up, a season turning.
"BREAKING: Judith Ward has died. The council says the fountain is unrelated."
POSTING
Type your own, up to 280 characters. It is scored on length, caps, punctuation, your Sim's mood and any names it recognizes from your save, then quoted back at you by strangers over the next few sim-hours.
Or pick a kind and choose from three drafts:
Shitpost — high engagement, raises your exposure
Hot take — the biggest follower gain, and the highest ratio chance
Flirty selfie — followers fast, and your partner sees it
Something earnest — almost no engagement, raises real friendships
Subtweet a Sim — big reach, and the Sim you named sees it
Sponsored — §200 to §2,000, and you lose followers
SIX SOCIAL INTERACTIONS
A "SimX" pie menu on any Sim.
Say You Liked Their Post — +4 friendship
Confront Them About the Subtweet — ends their beef with you, if they were the one posting
Ask Them To Post About You — they post naming you and you gain followers. Needs 20 friendship
Argue About a Hot Take — −5 friendship, raises your exposure
Show Them Your Last Post — +5 if it went viral, −4 if it was ratioed, −12 if it was about them
Tell Them To Log Off — −9 friendship
CONSEQUENCES
Going viral — a follower spike, then hours of notifications, then quote-posts against you
The ratio — delete it and keep your followers, or double down and risk being cancelled
A beef — a rival subtweets you daily until you confront them or it burns out
Cancelled — brand deals stop, followers drain daily. Lie low three days, post an apology, or log off for a streak
Doomscrolling — past 90 sim-minutes at a computer, the first attempt to stop fails
Community notes, bot purges, strangers recognizing you in the street
One setting scales all of it: Mild, Real or Brutal.
MONEY
Brand deals arrive by DM and are the only income. There is no salary.
Deal size scales with the engagement you built that week.
A sponsored post pays §200 to §2,000 and costs you followers.
SimX Premium — §120 a week for a badge and 15% more reach. Charges every seven sim-days and lapses publicly if you cannot pay.
No brand deals below 500 followers.
THE LADDER
Lurker — no brand deals
Poster (250) — replies arrive, and the first brand deals
Niche (2,500) — strangers recognize your Sim in the street
Notable (15,000) — bigger deals, further reach
Main Character (75,000) — the largest deals, and the hardest falls
Tier scales deal size, how far a post travels and how hard events land. About 25 posts a rung.

GOOD TO KNOW
Teen and up. Younger Sims have no account and never appear in the feed.
Sims on the lot post with their real portrait. Everyone else gets an avatar.
Every save has its own accounts and its own feed.
Loading a save without saving first rewinds the game, so SimX drops anything newer than the save point.
INSTALL
Drop both files into your Mods folder (one sub-folder deep is fine):
OtterStudio_SimX.package
OtterStudio_SimX.ts4script
Then turn on Script Mods:
Game Options → Other → tick "Enable Custom Content and Mods"
AND "Script Mods Allowed" → restart the game
