I finally updated Modern Witch, and it's HUGE and 100x better than ever before.
Modern Witch brings a personal witchcraft practice to The Sims 4, with functional objects, custom animations, rituals, gardening, crystal jewelry, and a dedicated phone app.

Choose from seven witch paths, each with its own description:
Kitchen · Cottage · Sea · Green · Lunar · Divination · Eclectic
Sims aged teen and older can begin through the Modern Witch phone app. No spellcaster or Realm of Magic required!
✨ What’s inside?
Tarot readings: Draw one card or a three-card spread from a 78-card deck, with upright and reversed readings, reflections, and card-specific moodlets.
Spells and rituals: Set intentions for love, confidence, abundance, protection, comfort, clarity, growth, and renewal—or send a little bad luck another Sim’s way. Rituals can succeed, fail, or backfire.
Your own altar: Designate an altar cloth, arrange objects on it, cleanse your space, and make offerings. Choose from 22 deities, or keep your practice without deity devotion.
Herb gardening: Buy affordable seeds and plant them in an empty herb planter. Water, grow, and harvest eight herbs, or buy ready-to-use portions from the shop.
Real inventory supplies: Herbs, seeds, crystals, findings, and moon water are physical items you can carry, place, transfer, or sell. Matching supplies stack together.
Crystal jewelry: Craft necklaces and bracelets using eight crystals, then wear or sell your creations through the app’s jewelry collection.
Herbal baths: Use two portions of an herb from your Sim’s inventory for a complete soak. Each of the eight recipes has its own benefits.
Moon water: Prepare a jar outdoors, let it charge at night, and collect it for rituals and offerings.
Seasonal celebrations: Follow eight observances, including Samhain, Yule, and Beltane, with optional Seasons calendar integration.
A witchy phone app: Shop for supplies, choose your path and deity, read your practice journal, check upcoming celebrations, and manage your jewelry.
The objects include a cute tabletop cauldron, tarot deck, altar cloth, herb planter, crystal displays, and more with six coordinated swatches for the main pieces. 💜
Magic brings small changes to everyday gameplay, from helpful moods and protection to a little unexpected money.
🌿 Getting started
Open Modern Witch on your Sim’s phone and choose My practice.
Search “Modern Witch” in Build/Buy.
Place your activity objects on a standard table or counter, leaving room for your Sim to approach.
Buy ingredients through the Witch shop and keep them in the Sim’s personal inventory.
Pull your first card, plant an herb, or try a ritual!
📦 Installation & requirements
Base game compatible, with optional pack features. Seasons is optional for calendar integration.
Place both jellypaws_ModernWitch.package and jellypaws_ModernWitch.ts4script in:
Documents → Electronic Arts → The Sims 4 → Mods → ModernWitch
Enable Custom Content and Mods and Script Mods Allowed, then restart your game. Keep the script no more than one folder deep.
Updating? Replace the old mod files while the game is closed, and keep your _ModernWitchData folder to preserve your practice progress.

Hi! I’m having an issue where my Sim’s phone isn’t working/opening in game, but I’d really love to use the Modern Witch Mod. I noticed in the player guide that some of the mod’s features/interactions are accessed through the phone. Is there another way to access these interactions without using the phone, such as through a computer, Sim interaction, object, or cheat? Or is a functioning phone required to properly use the mod? Thank you! 😊
A functioning phone is required as of right now, I will look into adding new ways to access it. ^-^
I've got the same problem as Mary Brown, in that no matter what I place the items on they can't access the items. I've got them placed on a standard table, and I also tried them on a counter, and nothing works.

Hi, I am running into an error where my sim cannot use the items. No matter what I place them on, they say they can't get to it, and I need to place it on a standard table or counter. Any fix for this?
