WHAT IT TELLS YOU
Payday — "Mortimer got paid §1,240. Balance §12,340. Earned this week §3,100"
Weekly statement — every Sunday, against the week before
Bill forecast — "Next bill about §1,900, in 2 days", and says if you're short
Budget alerts — "Bella has spent §2,400 this week, past a §2,000 cap"
Milestones — §10k, §25k, §50k, §100k, §250k, §500k, §1M
EVERY SIM HAS A LEDGER
The Sims 4 has one household pot, so Bank of Sims keeps its own books alongside it: a ledger per Sim plus a Joint one, always adding up to your funds.
Teens and older hold an account; younger Sims report under Joint until they age up, then their whole history appears under their own name.
LIFE EVENTS
Marriage — combine finances or keep them separate. Changeable later
Divorce — split 50/50, or by contribution
Death — their balance rolls into Joint
Moving out — their ledger is archived to its own CSV
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
It never blocks a purchase, moves your money, or changes prices. Budgets warn you and let the spend through. Uninstall it and your funds are exactly where the game left them.

i hope you take no offense to this but could you refrain from posting *every* upload from your friend? i feel like it’s not fair to your subscribers that every other notification (hyperbolic) is for a mod they have to pay for separately. if your friend was making content for free that would be one thing. your content is already permapaywalled, it’s not really fair that we’re also always being advertised for another separate person’s permapaywalled products. it was fine when they were first starting, since you do promo for other people every now and then. we already know they exist though, and the fact that you guys have extremely similar posting styles makes it feel kinda clickbait-y just a suggestion of course, feel free to do what you want with your own platform
He has only made around 3–4 mods total, and yes, I have shared them because he is my friend and I wanted to support him. That is hardly “every other notification,” lol. His posts are also clearly labeled as his content in the title with otterstudio being stated even visibly in the emails, so I am not sure how sharing a handful of them is clickbait. I understand that not every post will interest every subscriber, but subscribing to my page does not mean every notification will exclusively advertise something included in that subscription. I appreciate the suggestion, but I am comfortable occasionally using my own platform to support someone I care about.
