Cherry Cache v0.6.5 — one click, everything's back

Cherry Cache v0.6.5

Two changes this time, both about making sure your CC always comes home.

Restore everything.

A few of you have ended up with a lot of mods in the Recycle Bin at once and restoring them one at a time was never going to work. So there's now a Restore everything button right in the Recycle Bin.

One click puts every single item back:

In its original folder, not dumped at the top level

Under its original filename

And if a mod was disabled when it got binned, it goes back to disabled rather than being switched on behind your back

I tested it on 3k+ mods and it finished in about two seconds, with a live counter so you can see it working.

Fixed a OneDrive folder mix-up

Windows sometimes makes your Documents folder and your OneDrive Documents folder the same place under two different names. Cherry Cache was treating those as two separate locations, which could:

Show a "misplaced mods" bar that wasn't real

Move mods you had deliberately disabled back into your Mods folder

It now recognizes them as one folder, so that can't happen.

The thing I want to keep saying

Cherry Cache never deletes your mods. Disabling moves them to a folder beside your Mods folder. Deleting moves them to the Recycle Bin. Both are always reversible, and both keep your original folder structure so nothing comes back scrambled.

If something has gone missing on you, update and hit Restore everything. If it still isn't right, comment or DM me, tell me the folder path shown at the bottom of the Cherry Cache window and which drive your mods are on, and I'll sort it out with you personally.
