Captain Hardcore 0.16 Now Available! Over 40 new skin textures, pubic hair, new makeup tattoos and more! 👽
Hey everyone, PC update 0.16 is now available to download!
This update adds over 40 new skin texture pre-sets! Including new alien and android skins! There's also 17 pubic hair styles which have a special fur shader for extra bushiness, and pubic hair colour customisation! There's also lots of new tattoos and makeup pre-sets 👽
Asstronauts also have access to the new rope gun. This is a mechanic I'm experimenting with which can be used to quickly attach a physically simulated rope to characters and objects. Once I've perfected the mechanics the aim is to include options for different types of cables like rope, chains, alien slime etc.
Full Change List:
NEW: More than 40 new built in character skin textures!
NEW: Skin preset menu and improved UI that allows you to import your own diffuse, normal, specular etc on all skin presets (instead of just the "Texture Import" setting).
NEW: Special fur shader for pubic hair! With 17 pubic hair styles. This hair shader is more than a flat decal, it adds some fuzz/bushiness for extra realism.
NEW: Customisable pubic hair colour.
NEW: 14 new makeup textures.
NEW: 16 new tattoos.
NEW: Rera hairstyle.
NEW: Experimental rope gun for Asstronauts. This gun shoots rope which can attach to characters and other objects. The first object you shoot at will be attached to the end of the rope, and the second point can be grabbed to pull on the object.
FIXED: Solved an issue with imported normal maps being inverted.
Notes: I've tried to fully support old character saves but the new texture preset system may cause issues when loading characters made with older versions.
This build adds over 6GB of new detailed skin textures, so the download is larger (approx 15GB in total).
The next update will be for Quest! Let me know in the comments which features you'd like to see ported to Quest next! 👽👽👽

Ported, not sure, but an idea. Naughty GPT, with voice listening and reading with lip sync. So you can talk with your bots. Also, trans character.
Hey man, just wanted to chime in and say I enjoyed the Broken Core demo stage, even the Scan and jump process of getting there. The voice acting on the robots was hilarious, the ambiance was cool without getting on the creepy side, and the difficulty spike at the end got my heart rate up lol. Don't listen to these angry horndogs saying to focus on the sex, that shit is already on point. If you don't get to do what you WANT to do, you'll lose passion for the project and none of us want that. You've created something awesome almost everyone with a VR headset definitely wants, and it's far and away the best example of that today. If I could throw in a suggestion/request, I'd say that I'd love to have a few extra sliders to control head size and shape and definitely for torso and limb lengths. Fuck any and all haters, just keep doing what you're doing. It's fantastic. (And the fuckin' FORTY new skin textures? I'd've paid for those as a DLC lol)
Glad you enjoyed the demo! Making this into an actual game was always the plan from day one, that's the whole concept behind the name Captain Hardcore and the reason for the ship environment. It doesn't mean the sex stuff will be compromised! I'm adding a LOT more to sandbox mode and that's still the main focus. I get that some people want to get straight to the sex, that's why there's a cheat in the title screen to unlock everything! There are tons of adult games that mix sex and gameplay, it's not like it's unusual to have both!
This just crashes when I paste the key and click activate. Seriously. As a fellow software engineer, I never release broken software. For the odd bug, I immediately fix and issue refunds. Your software cannot even be activated on my machine. There's no reason in the modern age to not have multiple Virtual Machines and configurations to test your build. Hi, it sounds like you might have an incompatibility with your chipset. If you find and run the following file in your installation folder, then it should fix your problem. Captain Hardcore 0.16\FluidGame\Inel OpenSSL Fix.bat
Soooo, saves don't seem to be working on the PC version. Fresh install on a new computer, windows 11.
Hi, this may be due to permissions, did you grant all permissions when you first ran the game? You can check what permissions you have enabled by right clicking on Captain Hardcore.exe and then properties, then going to the Security tab.
I can't find the Patreon Key to get into the game. Where do I get it? i have an engineer membership.
Anyone get a large mouse cursor appearing in-game the whole time? It only shows in one lens of the Quest. If I open and close a menu, the cursor will appear in the lens corresponding to whichever was the last controller I used to select something.
if you use virtual desktop you have to go to the computer and move the cursor to the side of the screen so it wont show in vr
Would love new stockings / pantyhose for more customization
For Quest I'd love to see more features/morph options for the male character. Atm the quest game is very female oriented while the male characters are very bare bones. It would also be nice to have a strapon as an existing item rather than having to make one with items. Adding lactation to fluid would also be nice. Loving the updates!

A randomizer feature would be cool
The Quest version needs the face morphs and diffuse, normal, specular and bump textures need to be added for better overall customisation. I would also like to see some more male customisation in both PC and Quest versions
I would be stoked if we had an option possess a character rather than just the POV (walk around as them) and maybe record our movements. you can already make the hands pass through objects, hide it, and toggle grab to kind of achieve but you cant move. Anyway thank you so much for the game and your time

Add clothes to the quest
Accessories on quest. Shoes, heels, earrings, glasses.
For Quest, a feature that allows us to control model parts with our hands, like VRhot with their « grab mode » that would be awesome !
