Video Preview: Build Robust D&D Campaigns
Here's a preview of an upcoming YouTube video on building resilient D&D campaigns.
If the video is marked "private" that means I've scheduled it for general release and it'll be back up soon.
Enjoy!

As ever, tremendous food for thought and positive suggestions for the community. You are a blessing to our beloved game, Mike. Thank you!
Great insight and tips as always! Thanks!
Outstanding as always! I ended up making a time-line for my bad guys who have to recover a bunch of items to accomplish the BBEG's goal & I use it to gage when the PCs hear about an army on the move or the looting & destruction of an ancient burial temple. It has helped me relax so much! Now I know where the players might cross paths with the opposing forces if they're in a certain area in a particular time frame. It helped me figure out how long it takes for the bad guys to accomplish their goals - travel time included.
Wasn’t it „resilient“ campaigns? ;)
Following an adventure in White Plume Mountain, the party emerged 10 years later, war at hand and as they returned to civilization, they were greeted with jeers by those who thought the “heroes” had abandoned them a decade ago. Lots of fun!
I, too, have done gigantic time skips (in my case, the party stayed a little too long in the fey wild only to return to the material plane many months later than they intended), it is a great way to accelerate plot lines that might not have come about otherwise.
Great tips as always Mike!! Keep up the great work!!
Thanks for the tips! I have rolled up a new villain to spice our campaign up and got some great results :D An Elemental Prince who wants to destroy themselves and everything else who is heralded by talking vermin (Mephit)? Yes please 🔥🌊🌬️🪨
I love it Mike! This is very good advice! I actually added two additional villains to my DOIP as a way to rope in one of the PCs backstory and the while party got involved, so now those two villains are part of each PCs unique backstory in one way or another.
