August 2021 Sly Flourish Patreon Newsletter
Hello patron of Sly Flourish! Thank you for your continued support!
As a reminder, you have access to all of the following exclusive content for being a member:
I continue to post a lot of new YouTube videos, about four a week now. The easiest way to keep up is to subscribe to my channel on YouTube. This includes talk shows, dm tip videos, and lazy DM prep videos. My Tools of the Lazy Dungeon Master (2021) video has gotten a good deal of attention; an update to the now-ancient one that started my YouTube channel so many years ago.
Writing is still my main love, though, and I've not forgotten about the Sly Flourish blog! The blog has now turned more into more of a newsletter. If you haven't yet subscribed, you can subscribe to the Sly Flourish newsletter and get new articles to your inbox every week!
Finally, I'm spending a lot of time on the Lazy DM's Companion, my new upcoming book! I'm partnering up with Nord games for their help in both managing and marketing the Kickstarter and for fulfillment of the book itself! As a patron of Sly Flourish, I want you to have the first look at the sixteen page preview! Enjoy!
The Kickstarter for the Lazy DM's Companion will likely be September 28th through October 28th. We'll be doing a big marketing blitz for the month beforehand, though, so you'll certainly hear more about it.
Thank you all again for your support of the work that I do. I couldn't do it without you.

Thanks for all the content. How do I get the patron role updated on discord?
You can get it set up here: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Get-my-Discord-role
Thanks for the info on the Adventure Generator and the Uncovered Secrets. I will wait some weeks then and bind the updates with three magical rings. And sorry: I wasn‘t clear on the topic red/blue. I was referring to the graphic design and layout of the Companion. The preview shows a very similar one to Return. In my mind the red elements of Return turned blue for the Companion. Don‘t know why. But I totally get the graphic connection to Return and the Workbook.
*zo = to
Yeah! This is all so good, Mike!! Teaming up with Nord Games is great! Somehow I always envisioned the Companion zo use blue instead of Lazy’s red. Don‘t know why, just did. Oh, and does it make sense to print the current version of the Adventure Generator and the Uncovered Secrets or will there be an update soonish? Keep up the great work!!
Hi Dave! I’m not sure what you mean by blue instead of red. I was thinking about printing out the Uncovered Secrets and Adventure Generators into a 3 ring binder. I’d print it single sided and you can always update it with new ones. I’m at going through and editing all of them so you may want to hold out a couple of weeks but it’s probably not a big deal. I keep the Discord up to date with the latest edits.
Can't wait for Lazy DM's Companion, and Nord Games is a great partner!
Most useful and accessible help for DMs on the net. I am a proud Lazy DM!
