"Use Published D&D Material" Video Preview

Hello patron of Sly Flourish!

I've started a new series of short ~ 3 minute videos on YouTube. I hope to publish one of these a week on top of my other regular YouTube videos. I had a chance to shoot a couple of them today and wanted to give you the first look at the first on using published D&D material.

This won't be published publicly for a couple of weeks but, thanks to your patronage, you get an exclusive sneak peek!

Thank you again for your support!

Hey Mike, I'm running a campaign of short adventures cobbled together vs one contigious plot. Any advice/recommendations ? I've seen things like 'The Black Road'. Interested in your opinion if you have one.

It sounds a lot like a West Marches style game. You might want to check out that sort of play. I think the adventure generators I put together can help too. Individual adventures for a group. For me, a larger plot almost always come to light though. I've never run a series of individual adventures continuously like that. Good luck!

This is excellent advice. I constantly mix and match from sources. "Stripping for parts" is such a great way to describe it. Thanks, Mike.

Great advice! I do this all the time with my campaigns. Grab a tower from map designer, a trap from Tomb of Annihilation, a character... doesn't matter. It makes things so much easier for us Lazy DMs!
