Build 12.20.25 (v0.8.5) Release Notes
Hey dear players!
This update is a smaller one, but it includes several nice quality-of-life improvements and a handful of bug fixes that smooth out everyday gameplay.
Nothing flashy this time — just solid polish across the board. Here’s what’s new:
🎮 Quality of Life Changes & Enhancements
The Smartphone Maps app received a small UI addition to describe what Portgrand is like. (Thanks to Timmy)
Improved Real Estate properties configuration to properly define whether they are fixed locations or mobile properties (like stalls or movable businesses such as the Ice Cream shop).
This improves consistency and prevents edge cases where certain properties could behave oddly on the map.
A “Support Patreon” button has been added to the Quest HUD for specific quests.
This only appears when appropriate and helps make it easier for players who want to support development directly 💙
After Accepting the initial disclaimers in the Main Menu, they should not show up again until your next game session, making it faster to return to the Main Menu. (Thanks to Timmy)
Small adjustment to a Neruko Event title and Gallery entry title for consistency.
Fumi's Event 1: Minor script adjustments
🐛 Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Beach could incorrectly appear as closed due to the ice cream shop schedule or Ebiko's Shop.
Fixed a broken Terms of Service link on desktop builds.
Improved quest handling to prevent rare cases where quest status could behave incorrectly.
Cierna's Hotel Room: Fixed issue where door remained enabled after Event 3.
