Can you believe it’s already been two years since HTopia first opened its doors? It’s wild how far we’ve come — and I couldn’t be more grateful for all your support along the way.
To celebrate our 2nd Anniversary, we’re launching a special limited-time Anniversary Event running through October 31st! This update also includes major under-the-hood improvements to prepare for future online content, new features, and more ways to connect the world of HTopia.

We’re kicking off the festivities with a brand-new Spinning Wheel Minigame!
Explore the world and hunt for Anniversary Tickets hidden across HTopia's Portgrand City — these tickets let you spin the wheel for rewards!
🎟️ Spin the Wheel 10 times to earn a Steam Gift Card Raffle Ticket, which automatically enters you into our real-world Steam Gift Card Raffle!
✨ The event runs until October 31st, so don’t miss your chance to celebrate, explore, and win!
🏢 Introducing Soremih Studios
This anniversary marks more than just another year for the game — it also marks a new chapter for us as developers.
I’m incredibly proud to officially announce that we’ve established Soremih Studios, the team behind HTopia! 🎉
Putting a name and face to the project has been something I’ve wanted for a long time. HTopia started as a passion project, and over time it’s grown into something much bigger — something worth building a proper foundation for.
Under Soremih Studios, we’re doubling down on our commitment to quality, creativity, and long-term support for HTopia. This is not just a milestone — it’s a promise that the game (and the world around it) will continue to evolve and grow with care.
You’ll now see our new Soremih Studios splash screen when you launch the game — a small but meaningful reminder that this world is crafted by a dedicated team that’s here for the long run. 💛
🧩 New Systems & Backend Enhancements
This update brings massive upgrades to how the game handles online data and events — paving the way for future online features.
🌐 Server-Side Features
Introduced Server Items, a new type of item that exists entirely server-side.
Added User Account Inventory – items like event tickets now belong to your account rather than a single playthrough.
Added support for Server World Content, allowing the world to dynamically change and spawn interactive content tied to live events.
Added Server World Content state per account, so your world can evolve uniquely based on your progress.
Introduced Server Minigame Events – the Spinning Wheel is just the beginning!
Each minigame now tracks your personal progress on the server.
These systems all come together to make live events like the Anniversary Celebration possible — and they’ll power a lot more fun things in the future!
🎮 Gameplay & UI Updates
Added the Spinning Wheel Minigame and all its artwork.
Main Menu now shows a special event button when a spinning wheel event is active.
The Bottom HUD displays the current event’s currency as a shortcut to the wheel.
Added the new ‘Anniversary Gift’ box item with exclusive goodies for our 2nd Anniversary!
Added support for account-level items — things like event tickets are now shared across playthroughs.
Picking up an account-level item now adds it to your account inventory instead of your playthrough's inventory.
Added quest expiration (both real-time and in-game time).
Quests UI now displays expiration info so you can plan ahead.
Added support for server item rewards that can be claimed directly from your Inbox in the Main Menu.
Interacting with server content while not logged in properly shows a login-required message.
Added loading screen tip for iPhone users.
Minor UI enhancements throughout.
🕸️ Halloween Additions
Added the 2025 Halloween Reward to the Gallery.
Added unlock trigger for the 2025 Halloween Gallery Reward during the ending event dialogue. You will have to replay the event to unlock it unfortunately.
Added expiration dates for Halloween quests, ensuring they disappear once the event ends.
