Life Update and Future Creative Direction

Hi guys! Long time no see ... I really hope you are doing well, you are healthy and safe!

First of all, I want to thank you all for the nice messages, and especially the ones who reached out to me on private (I haven't respond to you one by one, because I'm still very weak and get exhausted fast, I hope you understand). I also want to thank to my patrons who stuck around even though I haven't been active for a long time. Thank you guys so much, you have no idea how your support is extremely appreciated at the moment!

Now, before I get to the crux of the matter, I want to warn you, this message will be a little long.

Why I haven't been active for so long?

As you may know by now, I got Covid back in January, later on I developed pneumonia and got hospitalized. My medication for my autimmune diseases didn't do well with the combination of the other medicatins, so I had to stop it for the time being, which caused me another excrusiating flare up on top of everything. Because of the pneumonia I had to be put on oxygen due to my lungs not be able to gather air on their own, and I'm still on oxygen support until further notice. It's been quite rough begining of the year. The good news is that yesterday I didn't have fever which is a progress. The doctors said if I'm doing well by next week I should be allowed to go home.

What this all mean to Patreon and my content?

I don't plan on giving up creating, however I do plan on changes. And I completely understand that my desicion might disappoint some of you, but I really don't have the energy to keep going.

Guys, I'm a person who lives on daily basis fighting their autoimmune disease. When I first started working on clash with reality, what I really wanted was recognition and simple awareness that poeple like me exist. However, as the time progressed and the mod got bigger and needed to be tested through and through so often, I grew to dislike the moodlets, the need of visiting doctors, the side effects. It hits too close home. On top of that this constant updates each month always are breaking my mods. I'm not expert in coding, so it was always causing me anxiety the thought 'what if I'm unable to find the problems and fix them?'. With time I found I'm not happy modding anymore, and I found myself more and more escaping it by learning 3d modelling. The videos by syboulette were so inspiring that back in December I subscribed to Substance Painter with the idea to start learning more in-depth 3d modelling and create my own custom content to share with you, and maybe even use as portfolio to apply for university or a real job. The final drop that sealed by desicion was when last week my boyfriend was reading me the e-mails I had. And although I had a lot of conserned messages by people caring for my health. The amount of messaging demanding me to fix and add stuff to my mods was huge. I was so surprised to see so many messages by people being rude and frustrated by me not updating my mods and not adding features they want. I don't want this, I didn't sign up for harrasment when i started sharing my creative work, I want to feel happy when working on my creations.

So, I decided I will focus only on custom content from now on. I will discontinue all of my mods, the only exception are - Pottery Wheel, Toys Stand, and the Medieval Activities (plus Mining) which i will keep updating for new patches.

If anyone who is modder and like my work, wants to adopt my mods, feel free to do so.

I hope you understand and respect my desicion, I need to choose my mental and physical health first.

When I'll be back with new content/updates?

As I mentioned earlier, if everything goes well, I should be discharged by the end of next week. However I don't want to make any plans since I'm supersticious, but if this oxygen tank doesn't bother me too much, I do hope I could release my first CC set by the end of March.

I know this message is quite long, but I felt I need to share it now, since I've been absent for so long and also I wanted to make sure I explain my point for the changes I'm making.

I hope you are having great day/evening!

Get well soon! Health is the most important thing! Just ignore the stupid consumers, it's better for our mental health.

Надявам се скоро да се прибереш у дома. Не мога да повярвам, каква наглост тези хора имат, да изискват от теб неща, когато ти дори не си в комфортният си дом. Почивай си и избягвай социалните мрежи докато се позакрепиш физически и психически.

I'm so sorry that you've been suffering so much since the start of the year and that people are sending awful messages to you. I don't understand why people have to be so heartless and think that modders are machines that bend to their every whim. I hope you feel better soon and that you're able to go home at the end of next week! Just to clarify, does Medieval Interactions fall under Medieval Activities, or is it included in the discontinued list?

Hi Mizore, Medieval Interactions is also discontinued. I will only keep updating from the big mods the Pottery Wheel, Medieval Activities (plus Mining and Digging Clay because they are all connected) and the Toys Stall. All other mods are discontinued. Just to clarify, I don't count towards mods the functional tea set, Christmas sock, functional vintage bar and Medieval candle station, since they are more like CC with a tweak. I'm sorry if this is confusing, my head is still cloudy and I haven't been using English for a little while. If you have more questions feel free to write me.

Get better! Take care of yourself, and those rude people are nothing to worry about.

I'm sorry you've had to deal with so many health issues. Hope you'll start feeling better soon. I'm also sorry that you had to deal with such rudeness while trying to recover, it's absolutely disgusting and I'm very disappointed in that part of the community. I don't blame you one bit for your decision. Your health and well-being come first! 🌹

it's so disappointing to see people take the health and well-being of modders for granted. I'm glad you're recovering! more than anything, I'm glad you're doing what's best for you. you created amazing mods, but if that's not your passion or if it's causing you stress, you deserve to do what will make you happy. I hope you continue to recover well and this journey turns into something better for you <3

I'm sorry you've been suffering and hope you're feeling better soon; however, I'm so happy that you're making the changes you need to in order to enjoy content creating.
