We've been eagerly waiting for the moment when we could finally say this.
Today, SlutCraft officially appeared on Steam.
For now it's just a page, the game can't be played yet, but you can already add it to your Wishlist and see what the project has become after all the changes.

will it stay fully uncensored? And will you be removing scenes or will everything stay how it is??? (not including future updates)
The game will remain uncensored! There may be some regional restrictions in certain countries, such as Japan, but the overall experience will remain uncensored. As for the scenes, we're reworking and expanding parts of the game for the Steam release, so it won't be a 1:1 copy of the Legacy version. We're not ready to share all the details about the scope of the Steam version just yet, but we'll have more information to share soon!

We've actually already settled on a release date we just haven't announced it publicly yet! π Right now, we're waiting for Steam to review our demo, so hopefully you'll be able to try SlutCraft directly on Steam very soon. Stay tuned, we've got more news coming!

Thank you! We definitely put a lot of work into this transformation! Surprisingly, SlutCraft had already developed a lot of its own identity over the years. While it started as a StarCraft parody, much of its lore, story, and character development was already our own creation. We've reworked the characters and references, and what remains is largely our own sci-fi universe, with its own story and ideas. So it's not simply the original game with a few things renamed. π There's still a lot of work behind the scenes, but we're excited to see SlutCraft grow into its own universe!
Congratulations! I wonder about losing identity due to copyright? Part of the appeal for me is specifically the world and lore and characters of StarCraft. Certainly not a deal breaker if changes need to be made. Also, very much looking forward to continuing development! Love this project!
Thank you so much! π And honestly, this was one of the harder parts for us as well. When we started reworking the game and moving away from the original IP, we definitely had moments where we wondered how much of what made SlutCraft special would survive the transition. There were a lot of things we had to rethink and rebuild. But interestingly, the further we went, the easier it became. We started realizing that SlutCraft had already developed a lot of its own identity over the years. Even from the beginning, we added a huge amount of our own story, lore and ideas. And Sarah herself is probably a good example β if you really look at how she behaves, reacts to situations and develops throughout the story, she's already quite far removed from the original Sarah. So while some familiar names and direct references will change, our goal isn't to throw away what made SlutCraft feel like SlutCraft. Quite the opposite β we're trying to take what we built over the years and give it a world and identity that can truly belong to us. And thank you again for sticking with the project and looking forward to what's next! It really means a lot to us. β€οΈ

Is the new version about making the early part of the game better?
Yes! Many parts of the game will be improved, including the early parts of the story. We're not only focusing on making things more comfortable and polished for the player, but also on improving the writing and story itself. And we're planning to add some new scenes as well. So it's more than just a visual or quality-of-life update β we're revisiting the experience as a whole.

Will keys be available anywhere other than Steam? Otherwise, I won't be able to buy the game, since NSFW games aren't offered on Steam in Germany.
Absolutely! π We know that Steam's NSFW restrictions can make the game unavailable for players in some countries, including Germany. We'll make sure to provide an alternative way for our supporters to get the game outside of Steam, so you won't be left out.
