Hotfix #1 for 1.15.12
I updated the download post - just be sure to grab the Hotfix 1 file
In this hotfix:
Spawn system update NPCs in the monastery shouldn't disappear now when entering scene animations
Imp girl's hair mesh has been updated
Trespassing NPC behavior has been updated to be less bug prone
NPC spawns + idles should spawn correctly based on quest flags
General goods store should have the correct stock now - this flag was getting reset too soon in the last build
There's still a bit of jankiness with the trespassing behavior. But the core behavior is working. The player can open a dialogue with them while trespassing and then go quietly, do a placeholder speech check, or fight them. There's also new logic after the player is defeated they'll trigger a dialogue that is the equivalent of going quietly. In the future the go quietly option with have followup scenes. I just need to make the content for those scenes first!
Oh and I ran into a bug with status effects like stamina regen. The time stamp isn't always getting read correctly. I'm still looking into this! I noticed it as I was hooking up the imps drain effect from her scene and it was disappearing way too quickly! I'll look into this more over the holidays!
I'm about to head out and visit family so I'll be a bit scarce over the next week or two. Probably going to take a bit of time to recharge and then come back and hit things hard in the new year! But I'll still be writing and working on Feign over the break just not crunching like I have been the last few weeks.
Happy holidays everyone!!!

In addition, I had this idea - the demon pit! So, a great number of demons have gathered into an area. This area may have once been a portion of desert, jungle, forest, or mountain. However, once the demons gathered here began frolicking, the landscape changed. The demons body heat built up gradually from constant le horny, and eventually the body heat of these demons was so great that it melted the land under them. Slowly, they began to sink into the earth, but ironically that was when their presence was noticed by the powers that be. Even at a distance, the heat waves, vapor, and illumination are visible. The city nearest to this demon made hole sent a city guard detachment to investigate, but they soon reported back that they couldn't even get close, let alone into the hole, to deal with this unnatural phenomenon. The church christened it "The Demon Pit" and warned all travelers to stay away from it if they valued their souls. Visually, I imagine it looking similar to an open pit mine(https://blog.iseekplant.com.au/blog/5-largest-open-pit-mines), only without the tiers of walkways and the walls to be slagged. I also imagine demons of every type are present within and it would take a very strong demon indeed to get them organized. As for quest solutions, the very presence of the demon pit makes the humans uneasy. So, naturally, the humans would want it gone and the land restored. One way to stop these demons would be to drown them in ice, another would be gear up bunch folks in anti-heat armor and raid the place. On the demon's side, it'd be all about organizing these demons into an invading force and turn the nearby city into a hellish paradise. I don't know enough about the character of the goblins, so I can't say what they'd want to do with this demon pit. What do you think?
Stuff like this is a little tough with the added mechanics specific to that quest. Like heat resistant armor - thinking zelda:botw where there's the entire quest and area the player needs special gear and armor for but then it's really a one off and forgotten about. In some ways it's similar to bethesda games sneaking and triggering traps. If the player advances high enough in the skill tree they unlock the skill to never trigger traps ever again and it completely negates an entire set of gameplay mechanics. But yeah, I also need to work on those later game demonic focused areas they're just going to tie in so heavily with lore and game themes that I wanted to flesh out early game stuff a bit more before tackling them.
On your Build Notes 1.15.12 notes post(https://www.patreon.com/posts/145760010), I posted a rather lengthy idea for the amazons. You've not responded to it, and I've noticed that when I visit the page on my phone, I can't see it. This makes me wonder if you can see it at all! If you can't, would you like for me to repost it? Beware, it is lengthy!
Hmm, so digging into this it looks like patreon has comment filtering? I think this is a new thing but I'm not totally sure and I'm kinda surprised it hasn't ever triggered before. But yeah it looks like it nuked the post for some reason. It might've been the external links? But I'm not sure and it isn't giving me any actual info as to why that happened.
