The way I see it if Leah comes to the rescue potentially, she can try and help our escape, if they bring extra in that hallway, we can at least lock it and trap them and buy us some time to find another way
if we need to run back this way its better to leave it unlocked so we dont get slowed down .

Woah woah hold on, hold on. I Think we may need to lock the door because everyone seems to be forgetting one crucial bit of information. "IF ONE SEES YOU, ALL SEE YOU." They're going to know that the boogie in the hallway got fried and they're already sending another your way to intercept!
I was just about to say, this was the first big time they saw us for an extended period of time without capturing us. That being said likely more are on the way.
