Ah crapbaskets I forgot to vote. Welp, y'all better not have cost us two lives for a single game over scene.
About that. Well, you'll see.
Depending on the outcome, we might truly spend some time on our knees...
The voting is over. Time to get down on our knees and pray…
Yes we'll see if the break did us any good.
If somone else toght there was a cell between the telecomunicator and the button in The Boogies part 23, thats only the halway down. The door whit the delay is at the end of the halway.
So. Logic. Going by our last failure, the field took ages to activate even when it was further from us than it is /now/, it turned the corner BEFORE the sparks went up. It's even closer now, so the field will activate even LATER. It's so close, in fact, that it's literally right in front of us. It is literally one second from reaching us, so with the two second delay.... Logic dictates that no matter what, if we hit the button now, it's already far too late to activate the shock field if the booby decides to charge forward. if it just moves forward, we're basically doomed, it'll crash into us long before the sparks go up, so this means...bizarrely... We need to wait another second. Because this is an unwinnable situation if it moves forward, I am instead one hundred percent convinced the booby's gonna go down the alternate corridor again. It's trying to psyche us out into pushing the button early again so we can get a repeat of the last ending, agents! We NEED to stay our hand, let it disappear.../then/ activate the field and sprint forward. It'll activate behind us, shock the booby as it emerges, thinking it's outsmarted us, and probably keep any friends behind the door behind us at bay too. Even if it decides to not go through the field, it'll be wasting time going back around- by which time we will already hopefully be through the door on the other side. Agents, please stay your hand- if I'm wrong then I'll take responsibility, but this situation screams unwinnable if we're banking on it just rushing straight forward. Ozone has not once placed us in an unwinnable situation, we just gotta use our brains!
Of course, arguments can be made for the alternative...maybe if we push the button now, it'll cover us, but then we could stumble forward as it's trying and get electrocuted a moment later to get it off us. If that's the actual solution then...well I'll be god damned. Because if we DO wait then maybe it'll decide to just charge into us anyway and we'll end up covered because we bode our time for too long. This is....really frustrating.
Alright, guys. Break time’s over. But now the question is; what should we do about this conundrum? Suggestions?
Here comes the 50/50 of "we don't hit the button and get tackled right here" versus "we hit the button, it hooks around the corner, and waits for the shock to stop before tackling us".
I can't wait for this to stump us for two weeks.
I'd say, don't push the button! Because if you remember, in the very first area, there was a brief period of time where we could push the button after getting hit, so if we let it hit us, THEN we can push it after it hits us.
Assuming it doesn’t hit our head first, or bind us to sometgibg
