From the way I see it, we either wait, and we get a LOT of nice info on how this boogie is going to move, and can base the next decision off that Or it blinks to use in a second and we know we should have pressed it, and move on from there with the life lost. But I feel at the very least with the distance between use it will at LEAST take one 'image' to get to use, so might as well see what it does.
Push the button now, based on the comments it'll reach up before the wall activates if we wait.
But if we press it now, what’s stopping it from just stop right in its’ track and just loop around the corner and get us? I think we need to time it so that it gets stuck in the field before it has time to react.
On the other hand… Maybe Erise is onto something about the floor tiles. Ozone just said that the boogie is moving one floor tile per second. We are currently three tiles away. Maybe we should wait after all!
Was close to choose waiting, but you guys have made good points in the comments. The boogies are FAST, we really should press it NOW!!

I really don't think I need to repeat my thread of logic again, basically the same deal but now we're on the path of luring the boogie down here. Man, kinda glad we didn't go for the leeroy jenkins option now...
I'll let you in on a secret. Approaching it would have worked and was the easier solution.
Also the floor tiles kind of match up to the number of seconds I think after counting them

So, dilemma time: given there's a two second delay, if we push the button now there's a chance the electricity goes off and fizzles out just as the boobie reaches us. However, if we wait, it might reach us before the field activates.... HOWEVER. In the past we've let ourselves get partially covered before, and the jolts shocked the goop off, just like with our impostor agent friend before. I'm of the opinion that it's better to wait till the very last second to GUARANTEE that the boobie is in range of being electrocuted. It won't matter if it starts covering us, the field will zap it before it can finish, but if we activate it *now*, that might actually be too soon! So I agree with waiting.
If it doesn't wrap itself on our head and prevent us from moving but yes, let's wait

"Door opens on five, button jolts on 2" Is there anyway we can tell how fast it is going? Cause I feel waiting means we press the button and it gets to us before it jolts
