Wow, this trap is like, one of the most obvious traps so far. Between the convenience, the fact that the eyes are glowing to show off the sheer contrast, the fact that whenever we are caught, we get transformed instantly, but not her apparently, just to name a few...and people still voted to spring the trap. ...I'm convinced at this point the majority just wants to see the game overs XD
Counter point; in this low light, Cassandra's eyes are glowing, too.
It seems like we’re set on pressing the button. I don’t mean to sound negative, but I’m almost CONVINCED that we’re going to lose a life here… Well, at least this will be a learning experiance, I guess. I just want full ’I told you so’ rights if this goes wrong. Here’s hoping that it dosen’t.
It will be valuable info if we're wrong but I also believe it's a trap owo
Why wouldnt she have been transformed right away. Something here seems off.
I dont think it's a trap. Boogies have very uniform colors and tend to glow blue. She has red eyes which doesn't match. Additionally she still has her tail fluff of a different color. Meaning she hasn't been boogied I don't think. All the boogies we see with tails are smoothed over. One uniform white over the whole thing save for their lights along the seams, which she also lacks.
Well, if there's anyone we can trust, it's the mysterious lady with glowing red eyes!
Well … nothing ventured nothing gained…
I say we leave. She's not rhyming enough to be the same agent.
I mean, it's such an obvious trap, but god dammit, after the fucking infinite loop we just went through, and having my interest seriously burned, I want something new to happen. If somehow this isn't a trap, we progress. If it is, something interesting. It's a win win as far as I'm concerned.
I am voting for pressing the button, it honestly seems like a bad idea but I am sufficently curious as to what will happen to give it a shot given that we have 5 lives remaining
In the previous image there's two lever looking things, maybe we need two of us for using them?
Man, I *super* wanna see what happens if we press the button, but there's zero chance this isn't a trap Consider: The agent speaks in a sing song rhymey way. Whoever this is, they know enough to try and trick you into thinking they're your fellow agent, but not quite enough to go for the eccentricities Also, the last note we got from her showed a ringing bell and switch, could very well have been a warning about hitting the button
Fuck it, suspicious or not, I'm perfectly fine with releasing her. If it works out, cool. If not, oops oh well then
It really pains me to say it but how can this not be a trap? We already know these things ambush us, what if this is want they want? What if she’s one of those things too, she might attack us if we set her free.
I dunno about you, but talking loudly in a room with two drones clearly attuned to detecting noise is a terrible idea...
I would like to not push button and leave her behind so we can watch her get turned I mean huh who said that no horny posting on my account shoo shoo
I wonder what our progress is so far
I know some people will question her rhyming. I mean its a stretch but, "ahead of you" - "one of them too" "set you free" - "release me"
at the same time, you fur going white and off white, segmented at her ear and tail is... hmmm
...hm, there is one other thing. When we were freed from a pod at the beginning of this entire thing, we had a bit of white stuff covering us. Maybe we looked similar to this agent at the time? Also.... If she IS a boogie, then we're kinda screwed because "If one sees, they ALL see". So maybe...she isn't? Maaaaaybeeeee?
I don’t like this one bit. I feel like both are valid options. I don’t like leaving an agent behind, but if she is a boogie then we might have to run because they have seen us now. Maybe we will have a chase sequence incoming? But if she is real and they convert her, then we are screwed because they will learn everything she knows. I just don’t know!
She couldn't be more of a trap if she was a magenta Yu-Gi-Oh card. Leave her.
I think her design is that way to confuse us but I agree with what's been said, we've only ever seen them corrupt on sight and if she is innocent and gets corrupted they will have her memory of seeing us, let's free her ^^
yeah this one's not rhyming. ABANDON. It's obviously a trap. Besides, her body is too 'boogy-colored.' Plus that sticky note from earlier has an "ALARM" bell so yeah, we need to abandon her. That's a trap. A Big one.
I’m torn on this one. On one hand, we DON’T leave a fellow agent behind! On the other hand, her color scheme is very similar to the boogies… Then again, if she IS a boogie shouldn’t they have seen us by now (hive mind, remember)?
Yes, but the 'bad endings' don't exist in canon.
Question: We've heard the agent speak in rhyme only before, so do they try to speak so as to make what they're saying rhyme or is the cadencing all wrong? Also we've heard them on the intercom, so do they sound the same?
On one hand, letting her out could be a bad end. Frankly, if she's telling us the truth and has already nearly become a Boogey, then we're already boned to an extent. After all, once she gives in, she and everything she knows will join the hive mind as a whole. Risky as it is, we should *try* and make the most of her while she lasts. I also love she looks like Loona to a degree.
And remember, we have 5 lives. I think we can burn one here to see what's gonna happen
I feel like we're at a point now where we could afford to take a risk or two by pressing the button... it was our goal to rescue her after all. ...it IS kind of weird that her coloring looks so... suspiciously boogie-like though. Hm...
Hmm, if I may, Ozone? Do we have ANY idea what the agent is suppose to look like? Any at all?
Details of your fellow agent's physical appearance was too classified to share with you.
This is a bad idea.... But I feel like we can burn 1 life and see what kind of art we get ;)
This...doesn't feel right. Rhyming, sure, but first, how did she get into contact with us if she's imprisoned? She wouldn't have been able to reach any sort of intercom. Furthermore the colour scheme is all wrong. And she's way too calm for the situation. Finally, her 'cell' is clearly connected to the boogie fluid tanks up above. So there's no way that's not a factor. Either she's a clone of the original, a more advanced form of Boobie designed as some kinda stealth unit, or she IS the original but still clearly affected by the boogie fluid. This is honestly a hard call. My instincts are screaming at me that this is a bad idea, so I'm gonna pick ignoring her...I do think the majority will vote otherwise though, so for once I hope I'm wrong. At least we got lives to spare.
Addendum: I acknowledge that she's saying she got captured after she freed us, and we haven't heard from her since, AND the voice on the radio said she wasn't far away. This is all compelling evidence that it really IS her, however my distrust remains for reasons stated above.
How the hell would she know how the darn thing she is in functions? Why would she know the button is to release a captive?
Although I feel this is a trap she seems different. Unlike previous works and the last couple of fails she doesn't seem like she's been corrupted.
No Rhymes, not our friend!
Couple things I’ve observed 1) she’s smiling, despite in a dangerous situation 2) these things don’t capture, they corrupt on the spot 3) if she’s the agent they sent first, she’d at least have called us out by name (assuming they are familiar with each other in the agency) She also does match the color scheme of the boogies, though she lacks a texture of one… stealthier version maybe?
Question then becomes why wasn’t she converted before? We’ve seen them just convert on the spot
I'm conflicted because she is still rhyming a little, but it's not as obvious as last time so I don't actually think it's her. Could be wrong though.
