Taking a couple of days off
Hey fellas,
Stil hammering at the animation, although these last few days were pretty scarce on work because me and my wife were coming and going from the vet to treat our boy Yisus.
He was battling against renal failure for about week, complications from chronic kidney disease. Yesterday, the doc told us our boy wasn't getting better and it was either more invasive treatment or quality of life/euthanasia. He was tired, exhausted from it all. And so, we decided to put him to sleep.
We've had this cat since 2013, he must've been 2~4 years old when we adopted him. We knew the time was coming but...it just sucks, y'know. He's been 10 years in our life, both in our lowest lows and when were doing better. I miss him so much already.
I'll be taking a couple of days off, everything reminds me of him and it's really hard to do anything atm.

We're being to that point with our dog. We've had him 11 years, and they said he was 10 when we got him. He's definitely struggling :/

I've had two cats and my dog die on me, Catface was old but Rations died young to a drunk neighbor blasting into the driveway. And Ivy? That little dachshund lived to 18, most of my life we had her. But also all my uncles but two are dead and Dan is dying right now and I never met one grandpa and the rest are dead. Point is I'm day drunk cause of insomnia and everyone's dead and I wanna go to the shooting range but I can't, enjoy life before they steal it! Aisha Clan Clan is so cute and awful I just wanna take her out for dinner and watch her eat my food.

I wish you to get better i know what it feels to lose a pet you're close to i had two dog and a cat when i was a kid i saw them died the same way off your cat so i Hope your going to get better

Oh, I’m so sorry. My cat Elvis passed earlier this year, it’s so hard to lose a pet. Especially when they’ve been in your life for a long time, they’re family members, just smaller and fuzzier.
I understand, it's tough when you lose a pet. It's like losing someone in the family. 🫂
It's ok to take some time off. You gave him the best 10 years he could have ever asked for. I've got a 12 year old dog who's blind and has dwarfism and I know I'll be pretty broken when she passes.
