commenting on an old episode to say that listening to the commercial with headphones on gave me motion sickness. i had no idea that could happen. thanks.
This movie seems so good but I've got too much anxiety to watch it
Just got my favorite streamer to say "Uncut Grems" on Twitch! XD
That Michigan State sports gambling is some bull shit. Universities have served up there students to credit card companies before so it's not too surprising
A few of us (me) first heard about the Safdies and this film because of that score & the score for Good Time being composed by avant-garde synth hero Oneohtrix Point Never - in fact he met The Weeknd on the set of this film and now he has production credits on a couple chart hits and The Weeknd exec-produced and featured on his latest album of musique concrete absurdism. Speaking of the score, the clear musical homage to Akira throughout but especially in the climax really leaped out at me - after hearing y'all talk about the structure of this film I'm fairly convinced the Safdies were consciously referencing Akira, especially mimicking the literally explosive finale where the supporting cast becomes captive to a deutragonist surrendering to his own volatility. I'd love to view it a second time with the homage in mind but this slots in next to Arronofsky's mother! in the category of "10/10 I never want to see this again"
lopatin is so good and good time is so stressful
I laughed, I cried, i got really pissed at the government of Michigan near the end; Great episode
*Me, hearing Brian say comics are dumb shit* "I disagree. I disagree."
Gents I think the public version of this one is actually full length, unless the preview is meant to be two and a half hours in which case I am strapped in
oh shit, thanks for the heads up. we've updated it with the preview, and those lucky lucky ducks who got in early got some hot premium content for free this week
