I have a distinct memory of listening to the family reunion episode with my grandparents and them thinking the reveal of Hiram had a lisp for the 2000 versus sows and and thinking that was the funniest thing like cackling in the car on some car ride.
It feels a little bit like Jane Austen missing how queer Lord Byron was and kept pairing versions of him up with her leads.
You guys keep saying that Eugene is gay, but have you considered that he might be a thespian theater nerd? Some times you listen to a show and think, "These three gay guys are fucking hilarious." But when you listen to more shows, it turns out that most of them are just straight theater nerds
